गुमला। गुमला जिला प्रशासन द्वारा सड़क सुरक्षा एवं यातायात नियमों के अनुपालन को लेकर लगातार अभियान चलाया जा रहा है। इसी क्रम में आयोजित राष्ट्रीय लोक अदालत में जिला परिवहन कार्यालय (डीटीओ) ने सक्रिय भागीदारी निभाई। लोक अदालत में डीटीओ कार्यालय द्वारा स्टॉल लगाकर लंबित चालानों के निपटारे की प्रक्रिया पूरी की गई।
डीटीओ कार्यालय के अधिकारियों के अनुसार, राष्ट्रीय लोक अदालत के दौरान चालान निपटारे के तहत कुल ₹11,000 की राशि मौके पर ही जमा कराई गई। इस दौरान मोटरयान निरीक्षक (एमवीआई) एवं सड़क सुरक्षा प्रबंधक उपस्थित रहे और लोगों को यातायात नियमों, चालान निपटान प्रक्रिया एवं सड़क सुरक्षा के प्रति जागरूक किया।
इधर, लोक अदालत में भागीदारी के साथ-साथ जिला परिवहन विभाग द्वारा गुमला शहर में यातायात व्यवस्था को सुचारू बनाए रखने के लिए सख्ती भी जारी रही। ट्रैफिक जाम लगाने वाले वाहनों के खिलाफ ऑनलाइन चालान की कार्रवाई की गई। विशेष रूप से ऐसे वाहनों को चिन्हित किया गया, जो सड़क पर रुक-रुक कर सवारी चढ़ाने-उतारने के कारण यातायात बाधित कर रहे थे।
इसके अलावा, सुरक्षा मानकों का उल्लंघन करते हुए वाहनों में अतिरिक्त लाइट (एक्स्ट्रा लाइट) लगाकर चलने वालों पर भी ऑनलाइन चालान जारी किए गए।
जिला परिवहन पदाधिकारी ज्ञान शंकर जायसवाल ने वाहन चालकों और आम नागरिकों से यातायात नियमों का पालन करने की अपील करते हुए कहा कि दिसंबर माह दुर्घटनाओं की दृष्टि से संवेदनशील होता है। नियमों का पालन कर ही दुर्घटनाओं से बचा जा सकता है।
उन्होंने स्पष्ट किया कि प्रशासन की सख्ती का उद्देश्य दंड देना नहीं, बल्कि लोगों की जान की सुरक्षा करना है। आने वाले दिनों में भी सड़क सुरक्षा मानकों का उल्लंघन करने वालों के खिलाफ ऑनलाइन एवं ऑन-स्पॉट दोनों स्तर पर सख्त कार्रवाई जारी रहेगी।
