बुधवार को झारखंड सरकार के माननीय पेयजल एवं स्वच्छता सह उत्पाद एवं मद्य निषेध विभाग के मंत्री श्री योगेंद्र प्रसाद का पेटरवार स्थित उनके आवासीय कार्यालय में पार्टी पदाधिकारियों एवं कार्यकर्ताओं द्वारा भव्य स्वागत एवं अभिनंदन किया गया। यह स्वागत पेसा नियमावली को झारखंड कैबिनेट से स्वीकृति मिलने के उपलक्ष्य में आयोजित किया गया।
इस अवसर पर पार्टी पदाधिकारियों, कार्यकर्ताओं और समर्थकों ने गाजे-बाजे के साथ मंत्री का जोरदार स्वागत किया और इस ऐतिहासिक निर्णय के लिए राज्य सरकार के प्रति आभार व्यक्त किया। मंत्री योगेंद्र प्रसाद ने उपस्थित पदाधिकारियों एवं कार्यकर्ताओं को मिठाई खिलाकर खुशी साझा की।
कार्यक्रम को संबोधित करते हुए मंत्री योगेंद्र प्रसाद ने कहा कि पेसा नियमावली को कैबिनेट से स्वीकृति मिलना आदिवासी समाज के अधिकारों को मजबूत करने की दिशा में एक ऐतिहासिक कदम है। उन्होंने कहा कि यह फैसला चुनाव के दौरान जनता से किए गए वादों को पूरा करने का सशक्त प्रमाण है। पेसा कानून से आदिवासी समाज का सर्वांगीण विकास होगा, ग्राम स्वशासन को मजबूती मिलेगी और स्थानीय स्तर पर निर्णय लेने की प्रक्रिया सशक्त बनेगी। इससे आदिवासी बहुल क्षेत्रों में विकास को नई दिशा प्राप्त होगी।
कार्यक्रम में बोकारो जिला समिति के पदाधिकारी, पेटरवार, गोमिया और कसमार प्रखंड के पार्टी पदाधिकारी सहित बड़ी संख्या में कार्यकर्ता मौजूद रहे।
इसके पश्चात मंत्री योगेंद्र प्रसाद का जोड़ा महुआ और पुटकाडीह गांव में भी ग्रामीणों ने पुष्पगुच्छ भेंट कर स्वागत किया और पेसा नियमावली को कैबिनेट से मिली स्वीकृति पर आभार एवं धन्यवाद प्रकट किया।
