उप-श्रमायुक्त के आश्वासन के बाद आउटसोर्सिंग स्वास्थ्य कर्मियों की हड़ताल समाप्त, सेवाएं हुईं बहाल

बोकारो जिले के विभिन्न प्रखंडों में स्थित सामुदायिक स्वास्थ्य केंद्रों और अनुमंडलीय अस्पतालों में कार्यरत आउटसोर्सिंग स्वास्थ्य कर्मियों की हड़ताल उप-श्रमायुक्त के आश्वासन के बाद समाप्त हो गई। करीब 15 दिनों से चल रही इस हड़ताल को 24 दिसंबर को समाप्त करते हुए स्वास्थ्य कर्मियों ने पुनः अपने-अपने कार्यस्थलों पर योगदान दिया।

स्वास्थ्य कर्मी छह महीने के बकाया वेतन के भुगतान तथा ईएसआईसी और ईपीएफ का लाभ दिए जाने की मांग को लेकर आंदोलनरत थे। हड़ताल के आठवें दिन सेंटर ऑफ इंडियन ट्रेड यूनियन (सीटू) की बोकारो जिला कमेटी ने आंदोलन को समर्थन दिया, जिसके बाद संगठन लगातार बकाया भुगतान और अन्य मांगों को लेकर सक्रिय रहा।

हड़ताल के दौरान सिविल सर्जन समेत जिला स्वास्थ्य विभाग के किसी भी अधिकारी द्वारा वार्ता की पहल नहीं किए जाने से नाराज स्वास्थ्य कर्मियों ने 22 दिसंबर को सिविल सर्जन कार्यालय का घेराव किया। इसके बाद 22 दिसंबर की शाम सिविल सर्जन कार्यालय की ओर से लिखित आश्वासन दिया गया कि दो दिनों के भीतर तीन महीने का बकाया वेतन भुगतान किया जाएगा। बावजूद इसके मांगें पूरी नहीं होने के कारण हड़ताल जारी रही।

इसके पश्चात 23 दिसंबर को सीटू बोकारो जिला कमेटी के नेतृत्व में बोकारो थर्मल स्थित सहायक श्रम कार्यालय में उप-श्रमायुक्त के साथ वार्ता हुई। उप-श्रमायुक्त के आश्वासन के बाद स्वास्थ्य कर्मियों ने हड़ताल समाप्त करने का निर्णय लिया।

सीटू बोकारो जिला महासचिव प्रदीप कुमार विश्वास ने बताया कि यदि दो दिनों के भीतर तीन महीने का बकाया वेतन और उसके तुरंत बाद शेष तीन महीने का भुगतान नहीं किया गया, तो आउटसोर्सिंग स्वास्थ्य कर्मी पुनः सीटू के नेतृत्व में आंदोलन करने को विवश होंगे।

वार्ता के दौरान सीटू प्रदेश उपाध्यक्ष रामचंद्र ठाकुर, जिला संयुक्त महासचिव विजय भाई एवं राकेश कुमार, तथा स्वास्थ्य कर्मियों की ओर से चंद्रदेव दास, कुंदन कुमार, योगेश प्रसाद, तौशिक आलम, इम्तियाज सहित कई प्रतिनिधि उपस्थित थे।
