चालक वाहन छोड़कर फरार, तलाश जारी
गोमिया। गोमिया पुलिस ने गुप्त सूचना के आधार पर कार्रवाई करते हुए लगभग 30 टन अवैध कोयला लदे एक ट्रक को जब्त किया है। हालांकि, पुलिस को देखते ही ट्रक चालक वाहन छोड़कर मौके से फरार हो गया।
थाना प्रभारी रवि कुमार ने बताया कि सूचना मिली थी कि साडम की ओर से अवैध कोयला लदा एक ट्रक गोमिया की दिशा में आ रहा है। सूचना के सत्यापन एवं कार्रवाई के लिए बिरसा बाड़ा क्षेत्र में गश्ती दल को अलर्ट किया गया।
जैसे ही गश्ती वाहन को देखकर ट्रक चालक ने भागने का प्रयास किया, पुलिस ने तत्परता दिखाते हुए उसका पीछा किया। अंततः गोमिया–धूर्वा मोड़ के पास ट्रक को पकड़ लिया गया। जांच के दौरान ट्रक में अवैध रूप से करीब 30 टन कोयला लदा पाया गया। इसी दौरान चालक वाहन सड़क किनारे खड़ा कर फरार हो गया।
पुलिस ने ट्रक को जब्त कर गोमिया थाना ले आई है। इस संबंध में गोमिया थाना कांड संख्या 3/26 के तहत मामला दर्ज कर लिया गया है। पुलिस फरार चालक की तलाश में जुटी हुई है और अवैध कोयला कारोबार से जुड़े अन्य लोगों की भूमिका की भी जांच की जा रही है।
