उपायुक्त के निर्देश पर गुमला में खाद्य सुरक्षा विभाग की सघन कार्रवाई एवं जागरूकता अभियान

गुमला : – गुमला उपायुक्त प्रेरणा दीक्षित के निर्देश के आलोक में गुमला खाद्य सुरक्षा पदाधिकारी प्रकाश चंद्र गुग्गी द्वारा जिले में खाद्य सुरक्षा मानकों के अनुपालन को सुनिश्चित करने हेतु निरीक्षण सह जागरूकता अभियान चलाया जा रहा है। इसी क्रम में मत्स्यिकी विज्ञान महाविद्यालय, गुमला के रसोईघर का निरीक्षण किया गया।

निरीक्षण के दौरान रसोईघर की साफ-सफाई की गहन जांच की गई तथा खाद्य निर्माण एवं परोसने की प्रक्रिया में संलग्न कर्मियों को एप्रन, ग्लव्स एवं हेडगियर का अनिवार्य रूप से उपयोग करने का निर्देश दिया गया। जांच के क्रम में कुछ खाद्य सामग्री एक्सपायरी अवस्था में पाई गई, जिस पर खाद्य सुरक्षा एवं मानक अधिनियम 2006 के तहत उचित कार्रवाई करते हुए संबंधित सामग्री को जब्त किया गया तथा रसोई प्रबंधन को कड़ी चेतावनी दी गई।

इसके अतिरिक्त BOI RSETI, गुमला में आयोजित प्रशिक्षण कार्यक्रम के दौरान खाद्य सुरक्षा पदाधिकारी द्वारा प्रशिक्षणार्थियों एवं खाद्य कारोबारियों को खाद्य सुरक्षा से संबंधित विस्तृत जानकारी दी गई। इस अवसर पर उन्होंने बताया कि सभी खाद्य कारोबारियों के लिए फूड लाइसेंस अथवा पंजीकरण कराना अनिवार्य है। साथ ही नकली टमाटर सॉस, नकली अथवा प्रतिबंधित खाद्य रंगों के उपयोग से बचने तथा तेल को दो बार से अधिक तलने मे उपयोग नहीं करने की सख्त सलाह दी गई।

खाद्य सुरक्षा पदाधिकारी ने यह भी बताया कि आमजन स्वस्थ जीवनशैली अपनाने के लिए दैनिक आहार में तेल, नमक एवं चीनी का सेवन आज से ही सीमित मात्रा में करें। उन्होंने संतुलित एवं पौष्टिक आहार अपनाने, स्वच्छ भोजन तैयार करने तथा सुरक्षित खाद्य आदतों को अपनाने पर विशेष जोर दिया।

साथ ही खाद्य सामग्री की खरीदारी के दौरान केवल विश्वसनीय एवं लाइसेंसधारी विक्रेताओं से ही सामग्री लेने, पैकेट पर अंकित एफएसएसएआई लाइसेंस नंबर, निर्माण तिथि एवं एक्सपायरी तिथि की जांच करने की जानकारी दी गई। इसके अलावा खाद्य निर्माण एवं वितरण के दौरान स्वच्छता बनाए रखने तथा एप्रन, ग्लव्स एवं हेडगियर के नियमित उपयोग पर विशेष जोर दिया गया।

इस दौरान फोर्टिफिकेशन (पोषक तत्वों से युक्त खाद्य पदार्थ) के महत्व के बारे में भी जानकारी दी गई तथा आयरन, फोलिक एसिड, विटामिन-A एवं अन्य आवश्यक पोषक तत्वों से युक्त फोर्टिफाइड खाद्य पदार्थों के उपयोग को स्वास्थ्य के लिए लाभकारी बताया गया।
