गोमिया थाना में Community Outreach Program, विद्यार्थियों को साइबर अपराध से किया गया सतर्क

गोमिया थाना परिसर में शनिवार को Community Outreach Program – “We are your friends in Uniform” के तहत जागरूकता कार्यक्रम का आयोजन किया गया। इस अवसर पर आदर्श विद्यालय, गोमिया के विद्यार्थियों को थाना आमंत्रित कर पुलिस की कार्यप्रणाली से अवगत कराया गया तथा पुलिस और आम नागरिकों के बीच विश्वास को मजबूत करने का प्रयास किया गया।
कार्यक्रम के दौरान विद्यार्थियों को थाना के दैनिक कार्यों की विस्तृत जानकारी दी गई। पुलिस पदाधिकारियों ने शिकायत प्राप्त करने की प्रक्रिया, प्राथमिकी (FIR) दर्ज करने की व्यवस्था, कानून-व्यवस्था बनाए रखने की जिम्मेदारी, गश्ती प्रणाली तथा आपातकालीन परिस्थितियों में पुलिस की भूमिका के बारे में विस्तार से बताया।
इस क्रम में विद्यार्थियों को साइबर अपराधियों द्वारा अपनाए जाने वाले तरीकों की जानकारी देते हुए उन्हें ऑनलाइन ठगी, फर्जी कॉल, ओटीपी साझा करने, सोशल मीडिया के दुरुपयोग एवं अज्ञात लिंक से होने वाले नुकसान के प्रति सतर्क रहने की सलाह दी गई। पुलिस ने स्पष्ट किया कि किसी भी संदिग्ध कॉल या ऑनलाइन ठगी की स्थिति में तुरंत नजदीकी थाना या साइबर हेल्पलाइन से संपर्क करें।
कार्यक्रम को संबोधित करते हुए गोमिया थाना प्रभारी रवि कुमार मेहता ने कहा कि
“आज के समय में बच्चे और युवा साइबर अपराधियों के आसान निशाने बन रहे हैं। ऐसे में जागरूकता ही सबसे बड़ा बचाव है। पुलिस केवल कानून लागू करने वाली संस्था नहीं, बल्कि समाज की मित्र है। किसी भी समस्या या भय की स्थिति में पुलिस से संपर्क करने में हिचकिचाएं नहीं।”
थाना प्रभारी ने विद्यार्थियों से कानून के प्रति सम्मान, अनुशासन, यातायात नियमों के पालन एवं जिम्मेदार नागरिक बनने का आह्वान किया।
कार्यक्रम के समापन पर गोमिया थाना परिवार की ओर से विद्यार्थियों को उपहार स्वरूप एक कैरम बोर्ड भेंट किया गया। उक्त विद्यालय के शिक्षक एवं शिक्षिकाएं और विद्यार्थियों ने कार्यक्रम को ज्ञानवर्धक बताते हुए पुलिस के प्रति सकारात्मक अनुभव साझा किया।
