बेंगलुरु। कर्नाटक हाईकोर्ट ने बाइक टैक्सी सेवाओं पर लगी रोक को हटा दिया है, जिससे ओला, उबर और रैपिडो जैसे प्लेटफॉर्म राज्य में दोबारा अपनी बाइक टैक्सी सेवाएं शुरू कर सकेंगे। हालांकि, इन सेवाओं का संचालन राज्य सरकार द्वारा तय किए जाने वाले नियमों और शर्तों के अनुसार ही किया जाएगा।

इस फैसले को शहरी परिवहन व्यवस्था के लिए एक अहम कदम माना जा रहा है। बेंगलुरु जैसे बड़े और ट्रैफिक से जूझते शहरों में बाइक टैक्सी कम समय में, कम खर्च में यात्रा का एक प्रभावी विकल्प रही हैं। खासतौर पर शॉर्ट डिस्टेंस और लास्ट-माइल कनेक्टिविटी के लिए बाइक टैक्सी कार और बसों की तुलना में ज्यादा सुविधाजनक साबित होती हैं।

हाईकोर्ट के इस फैसले के बाद यह उम्मीद जताई जा रही है कि राज्य सरकार सुरक्षा, बीमा और यात्री संरक्षण से जुड़े नियमों को मजबूत बनाते हुए सेवाओं को सुचारू रूप से चलाने की अनुमति देगी। विशेषज्ञों का मानना है कि सुरक्षा मानकों को बेहतर बनाना ज़रूरी है, लेकिन किसी सेवा को पूरी तरह प्रतिबंधित करना समस्या का समाधान नहीं है।

परिवहन विशेषज्ञों के अनुसार, बाइक टैक्सी जैसी सेवाएं ट्रैफिक का दबाव कम करने, समय की बचत करने और रोजगार के नए अवसर पैदा करने में मदद करती हैं। अधिक परिवहन विकल्प उपलब्ध होने से शहरों में आवाजाही आसान होती है।
