69वीं राष्ट्रीय स्कूली हॉकी प्रतियोगिता में मेजबान झारखंड के बालक एवं बालिका दोनों टीम सेमीफाइनल में जगह बनाने में रहे सफल

स्कूली शिक्षा एवं साक्षरता विभाग अंतर्गत झारखंड शिक्षा परियोजना परिषद, रांची की मेजबानी में आयोजित 69वीं राष्ट्रीय स्कूली हॉकी अंडर-17 बालक-बालिका वर्ग प्रतियोगिता के पांचवें दिन मुकाबलों का आयोजन जयपाल सिंह मुंडा एस्ट्रो टर्फ हॉकी स्टेडियम, मोरहाबादी ,रांची, रेलवे एस्ट्रो टर्फ हॉकी स्टेडियम, हटिया एवं खूंटी में किया गया।
आज हुए रेलवे ग्राउंड, हटिया में आयोजित मैचों की शुरुआत धीरसेन ए. सोरेंग राज्य कार्यक्रम पदाधिकारी सह आयोजन सचिव, ध्यानचंद अवार्ड से सम्मानित अंतरराष्ट्रीय हॉकी खिलाड़ी सुमराय टेटे, भारतीय हॉकी टीम की पूर्व कप्तान असुंता लकड़ा तथा पूर्व राष्ट्रीय फुटबॉल खिलाड़ी प्रकाश ठाकुर द्वारा खिलाड़ियों से परिचय प्राप्त कर एवं उन्हें जीत की शुभकामनाएं देकर की गई।
आज के प्रतियोगिता के दौरान खिलाड़ियों ने अनुशासन, खेल भावना एवं उत्कृष्ट प्रदर्शन का परिचय देते हुए रोमांचक मुकाबले प्रस्तुत किए।
प्रतियोगिता संघर्ष पूर्ण मुकाबले के प्री-क्वार्टर फाइनल में प्रवेश कर चुकी बालक एवं बालिका वर्ग की 16–16 हॉकी टीमों के बीच कड़े मुकाबले देखने को मिले। इसमें 8–8 टीमों ने क्वार्टर फाइनल में प्रवेश किया और सेमीफाइनल के लिए कड़े संघर्ष एवं जबरदस्त तालमेल के बल पर 4–4 राज्य एवं इकाइयों ने सेमीफाइनल में जगह बनाने में कामयाबी हासिल की।
जिसमें बालिका वर्ग में एकतरफा मुकाबले में झारखंड की बेटियों ने छत्तीसगढ़ को 11–0 से पराजित कर सेमीफाइनल में प्रवेश किया। वहीं मणिपुर की टीम ने पंजाब को शूटआउट में 3–2 से पराजित कर सेमीफाइनल में जगह बनाई, जबकि उड़ीसा ने मिजोरम के खिलाफ शूटआउट में 5–2 से जीत दर्ज कर सेमीफाइनल में प्रवेश किया। वहीं उत्तर प्रदेश ने सीधे मुकाबले में हिमाचल प्रदेश को 3–1 से पराजित कर सेमीफाइनल में जगह बनाई।
वही बालक वर्ग में पहला क्वार्टर फाइनल मुकाबला उड़ीसा और दिल्ली के बीच हुआ, जिसमें कड़ी टक्कर के बाद शूटआउट में उड़ीसा ने दिल्ली को 9–8 से पराजित किया। वहीं झारखंड ने मध्य प्रदेश को 5–2 से पराजित कर सेमीफाइनल में अपनी जगह पक्की की। समाचार लिखे जाने तक हरियाणा और चंडीगढ़ तथा पंजाब और उत्तर प्रदेश के मैच जारी थे।
प्रतियोगिता के सेमीफाइनल एवं फाइनल मुकाबले 31 जनवरी को जयपाल सिंह मुंडा एस्ट्रो टर्फ हॉकी स्टेडियम, मोरहाबादी तथा रेलवे हॉकी ग्राउंड, हटिया में आयोजित किए जाएंगे।
