गुमला : – गुमला जिला में आगामी एमडीए राउंड (10 से 25 फरवरी 2026 ) को सफल बनाने के उद्देश्य से गुमला के अल्बर्ट एक्का स्टेडियम में आयोजित मैत्री फुटबॉल मैच ने यह साबित कर दिया कि खेल केवल मनोरंजन नहीं, बल्कि जन-जागरूकता का सशक्त माध्यम भी बन सकता है। यह आयोजन फाइलेरिया उन्मूलन के प्रति लोगों को जागरूक करने में प्रभावी सिद्ध हुआ।
कार्यक्रम का शुभारंभ उपायुक्त प्रेरणा दीक्षित के निर्देश पर उप विकास आयुक्त गुमला दिलेश्वर महतो एवं सिविल सर्जन गुमला डॉ. शंभू नाथ चौधरी द्वारा दीप प्रज्वलन कर किया गया। मैच शुरू होते ही स्टेडियम में बड़ी संख्या में दर्शक जुट गए। युवाओं से लेकर बुजुर्गों तक की मौजूदगी ने यह संकेत दिया कि आयोजन ने जनसामान्य का ध्यान आकर्षित किया।
मैच के दौरान दोनों टीमों ने शानदार खेल का प्रदर्शन किया। दर्शकों की तालियों और उत्साह के बीच यह मैच केवल खेल तक सीमित नहीं रहा, बल्कि फाइलेरिया जैसी गंभीर बीमारी से बचाव का संदेश लोगों के दिलों तक पहुँचाने का माध्यम बना।
मौके पर उपस्थित लोगों को फाइलेरिया रोग, उसके कारण, बचाव के उपायों एवं एमडीए कार्यक्रम के महत्व की जानकारी दी गई।
अधिकारियों ने आमजन से अपील करते हुए कहा कि –
जीस तरह एक टीम हर खिलाड़ी के योगदान से जीतती है, उसी तरह फाइलेरिया उन्मूलन अभियान को भी सफल बनाना संभव है,जब हर पात्र व्यक्ति दवा का सेवन करे।
उन्होंने यह भी कहा कि 100 प्रतिशत पात्र आबादी द्वारा दवा का सेवन ही इस बीमारी से मुक्ति का एकमात्र रास्ता है। कार्यक्रम के दौरान लोगों में जागरूकता और सहभागिता का उत्साह स्पष्ट रूप से देखने को मिला।
यह आयोजन जिला प्रशासन, स्वास्थ्य विभाग एवं पीरामल फाउंडेशन के सहयोग से संपन्न हुआ।
कार्यक्रम के समापन पर यह संदेश साफ तौर पर उभरकर सामने आया कि – जब खेल के साथ स्वास्थ्य जुड़ता है, तब जन-जागरूकता एक अभियान का रूप ले लेती है l
