गोमिया के सीसीएल स्वांग कोल वाशरी में आग, बी-6 कन्वेयर बेल्ट जलकर राख

गोमिया | रविवार दोपहर करीब डेढ़ से 2:00 बजे के बीच गोमिया प्रखंड अंतर्गत सेंट्रल कोलफील्ड्स लिमिटेड (सीसीएल) की स्वांग कोल वाशरी में अचानक आग लग गई। आग प्लांट के डीसेलिंग ओवर साइज बिल्डिंग में लगे बी-6 कन्वेयर बेल्ट में भड़क उठी।
परियोजना पदाधिकारी बैकुंठ मोहन ने बताया कि घटना के समय कन्वेयर बेल्ट पर मेंटेनेंस का कार्य चल रहा था। इसी दौरान अचानक आग लग गई। चूंकि यह समय श्रमिकों के शिफ्ट चेंज का था, इसलिए प्रारंभिक क्षणों में आग पर तुरंत नजर नहीं पड़ सकी।
घटना की सूचना मिलते ही मौके पर फॉग मशीन और दमकल विभाग की टीम पहुंची और त्वरित कार्रवाई करते हुए आग पर काबू पा लिया गया। हालांकि, तब तक बी-6 कन्वेयर बेल्ट पूरी तरह जलकर राख हो चुकी थी।
आग से हुए नुकसान का आकलन किया जा रहा है। अधिकारियों के अनुसार, फिलहाल क्षति की सटीक राशि बताना संभव नहीं है। राहत की बात यह रही कि किसी के हताहत होने की सूचना नहीं है और स्थिति अब पूरी तरह नियंत्रण में है।
