गुमला : – गुमला जिला मुख्यालय स्थित जशपुर रोड के रेन हॉस्पिटल अब खुद सवालों के घेरे में है। अस्पताल पर सवा लाख रुपए की मांग को लेकर एक गंभीर मरीज को 3 दिन तक बंधक बनाकर रखने का मामला सामने प्रकाश में आया है। उक्त घटना ने मानव को जीवन प्रदान करने वाले अस्पताल और भगवान के रुप में डॉक्टर को मांगने वाले इंसान का विश्वास टूटा है बल्कि स्वास्थ्य व्यवस्था और मानवता को भी कटघरे में खड़ा कर दिया है। यह मामला तिरा ग्राम पेट्रोल पंप के समक्ष रहने वाले निवासी 30 वर्षीय सोमा उरांव है। बताया जाता है कि 2 दिसंबर को वह अपने मित्र संजीव कुमार के साथ दहेज का सामान लेकर रांची जा रहा था।
इसी दौरान रिंग रोड पर दो पिकअप वाहनों के बीच हुई जोरदार टक्कर में सोमा उरांव गंभीर रूप से घायल हो गया। हादसे में एक व्यक्ति की मौत भी हो गई थी। घटना के बाद सोमा उरांव को इलाज के लिए राजेंद्र आयुर्विज्ञान संस्थान में भर्ती कराया गया, जहां वह एक सप्ताह तक इलाजरत रहा। वहां से छुट्टी मिलने के बाद उसे तेज हॉस्पिटल और फिर गुरुनानक अस्पताल ले जाया गया। लेकिन हालत में सुधार नहीं हुआ। इस दौरान परिजनों के ढाई लाख रुपए खर्च हो चुके थे। इसी बीच सोमा के दोस्त अमर बारला उसे गुमला स्थित रेन हॉस्पिटल लेकर आए। यहां भर्ती के नाम पर 10 हजार रुपए एडमिट चार्ज लिया गया अँ मरीज को सीधे आईसीयू में डाल दिया गया। परिजनं का आरोप है कि मरीज आईसीयू में रखने लायक नह था, फिर भी तीन दिनों तक वहीं रखा गया। जबड़े क सिटी स्कैन हुआ, जिसमें फ्रैक्चर की पुष्टि हुई। इसके ऑपरेशन और दिल्ली से डॉक्टर बुलाने की बात कह ♪)) डेढ़ लाख रुपए की मांग की गई।
परिजनों के अनुसार एक डॉक्टर अस्पताल पहुंचे भी, लेकिन 3 दिन बाद जब मरीज की पत्नी लक्ष्मी को अस्पताल के रवैये पर शक हुआ तो उसने डिस्चार्ज की मांग की। यहीं से असली खेल शुरू हुआ।
अस्पताल प्रबंधन ने साफ कह दिया, डेढ़ लाख रुपए जमा किए बिना मरीज को नहीं छोड़ा जाएगा। गरीब पत्नी हाथ जोड़ती रही, रोती-बिलखती रही, लेकिन अस्पताल प्रबंधन का दिल नहीं पसीजा।
