रांची में ‘क्लाइमेट रेजिलिएंट WASH इन स्कूल्स’ क्षेत्रीय कार्यशाला आयोजित, मंत्री योगेंद्र प्रसाद हुए शामिल

राज्य के पेयजल एवं स्वच्छता तथा उत्पाद एवं मद्य निषेध विभाग के मंत्री योगेंद्र प्रसाद ने बुधवार को रांची स्थित Hotel Chanakya BNR में आयोजित “Climate Resilient WASH in Schools” विषय पर क्षेत्रीय कार्यशाला एवं स्वच्छ एवं हरित मुख्यमंत्री स्वच्छ विद्यालय पुरस्कार (2025-26) कार्यक्रम में भाग लिया। यह कार्यक्रम स्कूली शिक्षा एवं साक्षरता विभाग तथा UNICEF, झारखंड के संयुक्त तत्वावधान में आयोजित किया गया था।
कार्यक्रम की शुरुआत मंत्री योगेंद्र प्रसाद के आगमन पर पुष्पगुच्छ एवं पौधा भेंट कर भव्य स्वागत के साथ हुई। इसके पश्चात उन्होंने दीप प्रज्वलित कर कार्यक्रम का विधिवत उद्घाटन किया।
अपने संबोधन में मंत्री योगेंद्र प्रसाद ने कहा कि विद्यालयों में स्वच्छता, सुरक्षित पेयजल और बेहतर शौचालय व्यवस्था बच्चों के स्वस्थ और उज्ज्वल भविष्य की बुनियाद है। उन्होंने कहा कि जलवायु परिवर्तन की बढ़ती चुनौतियों को देखते हुए स्कूलों में WASH (Water, Sanitation and Hygiene) व्यवस्था को मजबूत बनाना समय की आवश्यकता है, ताकि बच्चों को स्वच्छ, सुरक्षित और पर्यावरण के अनुकूल वातावरण मिल सके।
उन्होंने आगे कहा कि स्वच्छ एवं हरित विद्यालय की अवधारणा केवल सरकारी योजना नहीं, बल्कि आने वाली पीढ़ी को स्वच्छता, पर्यावरण संरक्षण और जल संरक्षण के प्रति जागरूक करने का महत्वपूर्ण माध्यम है। मंत्री ने इस दिशा में स्कूली शिक्षा एवं साक्षरता विभाग और यूनिसेफ झारखंड द्वारा किए जा रहे प्रयासों की सराहना करते हुए सभी विद्यालयों से स्वच्छता और हरित वातावरण को बढ़ावा देने में सक्रिय भूमिका निभाने का आह्वान किया।
कार्यक्रम के दौरान मंत्री योगेंद्र प्रसाद ने मुख्यमंत्री स्वच्छ विद्यालय पुरस्कार 2025-26 के विजेता विद्यालयों को प्रशस्ति पत्र देकर सम्मानित किया। इसके साथ ही उन्होंने स्वच्छता और विद्यालयी वातावरण से संबंधित एक पुस्तक का भी विमोचन किया।
इस अवसर पर राज्य के विभिन्न जिलों से आए शिक्षा पदाधिकारी, शिक्षक, विशेषज्ञ तथा संबंधित विभागों के प्रतिनिधि भी उपस्थित रहे।
