नगर परिषद गुमला की नवनिर्वाचित अध्यक्ष शकुन्तला उरांव एवं वार्ड पार्षदों का शपथ ग्रहण संपन्न, रमेश कुमार चीनी बने उपाध्यक्ष

गुमला : – गुमला नगर परिषद, गुमला (वर्ग–ख) की नवनिर्वाचित अध्यक्ष शकुन्तला उरांव एवं सभी 22 वार्ड पार्षदों का शपथ ग्रहण समारोह शनिवार को अनुमण्डल कार्यालय, गुमला स्थित सभागार में संपन्न हुआ। जिला निर्वाचन पदाधिकारी सह उपायुक्त प्रेरणा दीक्षित ने नवनिर्वाचित अध्यक्ष शकुन्तला उरांव एवं सभी वार्ड पार्षदों को पद एवं गोपनीयता की शपथ दिलाई।

शपथ ग्रहण के उपरांत नगर परिषद के उपाध्यक्ष पद के लिए अप्रत्यक्ष निर्वाचन की प्रक्रिया संपन्न कराई गई। मतदान संपन्न होने के पश्चात घोषित परिणाम के अनुसार रमेश कुमार चीनी को 10 मत, मनीष कुमार को 09 मत तथा मुशर्रद परवीन को 03 मत प्राप्त हुए।
उक्त के आलोक में रमेश कुमार चीनी को सर्वाधिक मत प्राप्त होने के कारण नगर परिषद, गुमला के उपाध्यक्ष पद के लिए निर्वाचित घोषित किया गया। इसके पश्चात उनका शपथ ग्रहण भी संपन्न कराया गया।
इस अवसर पर जिला निर्वाचन पदाधिकारी सह उपायुक्त प्रेरणा दीक्षित ने नवनिर्वाचित जनप्रतिनिधियों को शुभकामनाएं देते हुए कहा कि नगर के विकास तथा नागरिकों की समस्याओं के समाधान को प्राथमिकता देते हुए सभी जनप्रतिनिधि निष्पक्षता एवं समर्पण के साथ अपने दायित्वों का निर्वहन करें।

मौके पर अपर समाहर्ता गुमला, डीसीएलआर गुमला राजीव कुमार, अनुमण्डल पदाधिकारी सदर राजीव नीरज, सभी निर्वाची पदाधिकारी सहित अन्य संबंधित पदाधिकारी एवं कर्मी उपस्थित थे।
