कथारा में अवैध कोयला खनन पर बड़ी कार्रवाई

गोमिया _क्षेत्र में अवैध कोयला खनन के खिलाफ बुधवार सुबह करीब छह बजे पुलिस और सेंट्रल कोलफील्ड्स लिमिटेड (सीसीएल) प्रबंधन ने संयुक्त रूप से बड़ी कार्रवाई की। कथारा स्थित बांध कॉलोनी वाशरी रोड में कथारा ओपी प्रभारी राजेश प्रजापति के नेतृत्व में छापेमारी अभियान चलाया गया, जिसमें लगभग 7 से 8 टन अवैध कोयला जब्त किया गया।
जब्त किए गए कोयले को सुरक्षित रूप से कथारा कोलियरी के 6 नंबर स्टॉक में जमा करा दिया गया है। इस संबंध में सुरक्षा निरीक्षक नागेश्वर नोनिया ने बताया कि अवैध कोयला खनन और परिवहन की गुप्त सूचना के आधार पर यह कार्रवाई की गई। सूचना मिलते ही ओपी पुलिस और सीसीएल की संयुक्त टीम ने त्वरित छापेमारी कर कोयला जब्त किया।
उन्होंने बताया कि अभियान में पुलिस बल के साथ-साथ सीसीएल के सुरक्षा कर्मी भी शामिल थे। टीम में आंध्र कुमार, साहिल खान तथा महिला होमगार्ड सहित अन्य जवान मौजूद थे।
प्रशासन की इस कार्रवाई से अवैध कोयला कारोबार में संलिप्त लोगों में हड़कंप मच गया है।
