दिल्ली में शिक्षा व्यवस्था को अधिक पारदर्शी और अभिभावक हितैषी बनाने के लिए Delhi Government ने निजी और सहायता प्राप्त स्कूलों पर सख्ती बढ़ा दी है। मुख्यमंत्री Rekha Gupta ने स्पष्ट निर्देश जारी करते हुए कहा है कि अब कोई भी स्कूल अभिभावकों को किताबें, यूनिफॉर्म या स्टेशनरी किसी एक निर्धारित दुकान से खरीदने के लिए बाध्य नहीं कर सकता।
सरकार के नए निर्देशों के अनुसार, सभी स्कूलों को अपने नोटिस बोर्ड, आधिकारिक वेबसाइट और इन-हाउस स्टोर पर यह साफ तौर पर प्रदर्शित करना होगा कि अभिभावक अपनी सुविधा के अनुसार कहीं से भी जरूरी सामान खरीद सकते हैं। स्कूल केवल सुझाव दे सकते हैं, लेकिन किसी भी प्रकार की खरीद को अनिवार्य नहीं बना सकते। इस कदम को अभिभावकों के आर्थिक बोझ को कम करने और मनमानी पर रोक लगाने की दिशा में अहम माना जा रहा है।
मुख्यमंत्री ने चेतावनी दी है कि नियमों का उल्लंघन करने वाले स्कूलों के खिलाफ कड़ी कार्रवाई की जाएगी। उन्होंने कहा कि बिना किसी पूर्व सूचना के स्कूलों का औचक निरीक्षण किया जा सकता है और यदि शिकायतें सही पाई जाती हैं, तो सख्त कदम उठाए जाएंगे। जरूरत पड़ने पर स्कूल के टेकओवर जैसे कड़े फैसले भी लिए जा सकते हैं।
हाल ही में रोहिणी स्थित एक निजी स्कूल के निरीक्षण के दौरान कई गंभीर अनियमितताएं सामने आईं, जिनमें फायर सेफ्टी सर्टिफिकेट का अभाव और बिना लाइसेंस के संचालित स्विमिंग पूल शामिल हैं। प्रशासन ने तत्काल कार्रवाई करते हुए पूल को सील कर दिया, जबकि अन्य मामलों की जांच जारी है।
सरकार का यह कदम पहले जारी दिशा-निर्देशों को प्रभावी ढंग से लागू करने की दिशा में महत्वपूर्ण माना जा रहा है, जिससे अभिभावकों के अधिकारों की रक्षा और स्कूलों में पारदर्शिता सुनिश्चित की जा सके।
