पशुधन विकास योजना के तहत लाभुकों के बीच छह यूनिट सुकर , एक बोरा सुकर का भोजन खाने पीने के लिए बर्तन का वितरण किया गया। प्रत्येक यूनिट में चार सुकरी एवं एक सुकर प्रदान किया गया। इस योजना का उद्देश्य ग्रामीण क्षेत्रों में पशुपालन को बढ़ावा देकर लोगों को आत्मनिर्भर बनाना एवं रोजगार के अवसर उपलब्ध कराना है।
कार्यक्रम में उपस्थित प्रखंड विकास पदाधिकारी महादेव कुमार महतो ने लाभुकों को संबोधित करते हुए कहा कि राज्य सरकार की मुख्यमंत्री पशुधन योजना ग्रामीण परिवारों के आर्थिक विकास में महत्वपूर्ण भूमिका निभा रही है। उन्होंने कहा कि सुकर पालन कम लागत में अधिक लाभ देने वाला व्यवसाय है और इससे ग्रामीणों की आय में वृद्धि होगी। उन्होंने लाभुकों से योजना का सही तरीके से लाभ उठाने तथा पशुओं की समुचित देखभाल करने की अपील की।
इस अवसर पर पशुपालन विभाग के चिकित्सक डॉ. अनिल कुमार ने कहा कि विभाग द्वारा लाभुकों को समय-समय पर तकनीकी मार्गदर्शन एवं पशुओं के स्वास्थ्य संबंधी सुविधाएं उपलब्ध कराई जाएंगी। उन्होंने बताया कि आधुनिक तरीके से पशुपालन कर ग्रामीण बेहतर आमदनी प्राप्त कर सकते हैं। साथ ही उन्होंने लाभुकों को पशुओं के टीकाकरण एवं साफ-सफाई पर विशेष ध्यान देने की सलाह दी।
कार्यक्रम के दौरान लाभुकों में काफी उत्साह देखा गया। मौके पर पशुपालन विभाग के कर्मी, स्थानीय ग्रामीण उपस्थित थे।
