गोमिया_कम्युनिटी आउटरीच प्रोग्राम के तहत शनिवार को बोकारो जिला के कथारा ओपी थाना पुलिस द्वारा मॉडर्न पब्लिक स्कूल में जागरूकता कार्यक्रम आयोजित किया गया। ओपी थाना प्रभारी राजेश प्रजापति के नेतृत्व में आयोजित इस कार्यक्रम में स्कूली बच्चों और शिक्षकों को विभिन्न कानूनी एवं सुरक्षा संबंधी जानकारियां दी गईं।
कार्यक्रम के दौरान थाना प्रभारी ने डायल 112 की उपयोगिता, साइबर हेल्पलाइन नंबर 1930, पॉक्सो एक्ट, साइबर अपराध से बचाव तथा सड़क सुरक्षा नियमों पर विस्तार से जानकारी दी। उन्होंने बच्चों को बताया कि किसी भी आपात स्थिति में डायल 112 पर तुरंत पुलिस सहायता प्राप्त की जा सकती है। वहीं साइबर ठगी या ऑनलाइन फ्रॉड होने पर 1930 पर कॉल कर शिकायत दर्ज कराने की सलाह दी गई।
इस दौरान बच्चों को गुड टच और बैड टच के प्रति जागरूक करते हुए पॉक्सो एक्ट की जानकारी भी दी गई। साथ ही बोकारो पुलिस की ओर से थाना प्रभारी राजेश प्रजापति ने बच्चों के बीच खेल सामग्री का वितरण किया।
सड़क सुरक्षा को लेकर उन्होंने कहा कि बिना हेलमेट दोपहिया वाहन नहीं चलाना चाहिए, तेज गति से वाहन चलाने से बचना चाहिए तथा सभी को यातायात नियमों का पालन करना चाहिए।
थाना प्रभारी ने कहा कि कम्युनिटी आउटरीच प्रोग्राम का मुख्य उद्देश्य पुलिस और जनता के बीच की दूरी को कम करना तथा लोगों को कानून के प्रति जागरूक बनाना है।
कार्यक्रम में विद्यालय के प्राचार्य, शिक्षकगण एवं बड़ी संख्या में छात्र-छात्राएं उपस्थित थे।
