गोमिया_बेरमो अनुमंडल पुलिस ने तकनीक का प्रभावी उपयोग करते हुए एक बड़ी सफलता हासिल की है। पुलिस ने CEIR (Central Equipment Identity Register) पोर्टल की सहायता से चोरी और गुम हुए 83 मोबाइल फोन बरामद कर उनके वास्तविक मालिकों को ससम्मान वापस सौंप दिया।
मोबाइल वितरण कार्यक्रम का आयोजन बेरमो अनुमंडल पुलिस पदाधिकारी (SDPO) रविंद्र कुमार सिंह के नेतृत्व में किया गया। बरामद किए गए मोबाइल बेरमो, पेटरवार, नवाडीह, गोमिया और बोकारो थर्मल सहित विभिन्न थाना क्षेत्रों से संबंधित थे।
इस अवसर पर जरीडीह, कसमार, ललपनिया, पेक नारायणपुर और गांधीनगर थाना क्षेत्रों के थाना प्रभारी भी उपस्थित रहे। पुलिस अधिकारियों ने बताया कि इससे पूर्व भी CEIR पोर्टल की मदद से 36 गुम एवं चोरी हुए मोबाइल फोन बरामद कर उनके मालिकों को लौटाए जा चुके हैं।
मोबाइल वापस मिलने पर लोगों के चेहरे खुशी से खिल उठे। कई लोगों ने पुलिस की इस पहल की सराहना करते हुए कहा कि तकनीक के माध्यम से गुम हुए मोबाइल वापस मिलना उनके लिए किसी बड़ी राहत से कम नहीं है।
पुलिस ने आम नागरिकों से अपील की है कि मोबाइल गुम या चोरी होने की स्थिति में तत्काल इसकी सूचना नजदीकी थाना में दें तथा CEIR पोर्टल पर शिकायत दर्ज कराएं, जिससे मोबाइल की ट्रैकिंग और बरामदगी की प्रक्रिया तेज हो सके।
