गोमिया। भारतीय ट्रेड यूनियन केंद्र (सीटू) के अखिल भारतीय आह्वान पर रविवार को गोमिया रेलवे स्टेशन परिसर में प्रदर्शन कर छोटे व्यापारियों, फेरीवालों और रेहड़ी-पटरी व्यवसायियों की जबरन बेदखली के खिलाफ आवाज उठाई गई। इस दौरान सीटू बोकारो जिला कमेटी की ओर से स्टेशन अधीक्षक बी.एन. सिंह को मांग पत्र सौंपा गया।
कार्यक्रम को संबोधित करते हुए सीटू के प्रदेश उपाध्यक्ष रामचंद्र ठाकुर, जिला महासचिव प्रदीप कुमार विश्वास तथा राज्य कमेटी सदस्य राकेश कुमार ने कहा कि बिना पुनर्वास के लोगों को उजाड़ना अमानवीय है। उन्होंने पश्चिम बंगाल, झारखंड समेत देश के विभिन्न हिस्सों में चल रहे कथित जबरन बेदखली, तोड़फोड़ और बुलडोजर कार्रवाई पर तत्काल रोक लगाने की मांग की।
नेताओं ने कहा कि जिन फेरीवालों, रेहड़ी-पटरी व्यवसायियों और छोटे व्यापारियों की दुकानों को हटाया गया है या नुकसान पहुंचाया गया है, उन्हें पर्याप्त पुनर्वास, वैकल्पिक आजीविका और उचित मुआवजा दिया जाना चाहिए। उन्होंने यह भी मांग की कि विरोध प्रदर्शनों के दौरान ट्रेड यूनियन कार्यकर्ताओं, छात्रों, स्थानीय निवासियों और लोकतांत्रिक अधिकारों के लिए संघर्ष करने वाले लोगों के खिलाफ दर्ज सभी कथित झूठे और राजनीतिक रूप से प्रेरित मामलों को वापस लिया जाए।
प्रदर्शन कार्यक्रम में सीटू नेता अजय कुमार नायक, केसु कुमार, रूपेश कुमार, दिलीप नायक, चंदन कुमार महतो, प्रवीण महतो सहित अन्य कार्यकर्ता उपस्थित थे।
