सड़क सुरक्षा अभियान में परिवहन विभाग की बड़ी कार्रवाई, ₹2.25 लाख का जुर्माना वसूला

हेलमेट नहीं पहनने, ट्रिपल राइडिंग, दस्तावेजों की कमी और प्रेशर हॉर्न के खिलाफ चला विशेष अभियान

गुमला, 15 जून: जिले में बढ़ती सड़क दुर्घटनाओं पर अंकुश लगाने और लोगों को यातायात नियमों के प्रति जागरूक करने के उद्देश्य से जिला परिवहन विभाग ने सोमवार को रायडीह क्षेत्र के पतराटोली में विशेष सड़क सुरक्षा अभियान चलाया। जिला परिवहन पदाधिकारी सतेन्द्र महतो के निर्देश पर चलाए गए इस अभियान में नियमों का उल्लंघन करने वाले वाहन चालकों के खिलाफ सख्त कार्रवाई की गई।

अभियान का नेतृत्व मोटरयान निरीक्षक रॉबिन अजय सिंह एवं प्रदीप कुमार तिर्की ने स्थानीय थाना पुलिस के सहयोग से किया। जांच टीम ने पतराटोली के समीप चेकनाका स्थापित कर आने-जाने वाले वाहनों की सघन जांच की। अचानक हुई इस कार्रवाई से नियमों का उल्लंघन करने वाले चालकों में हड़कंप मच गया।

जांच के दौरान यातायात नियमों का उल्लंघन करने वाले वाहन चालकों से कुल ₹2 लाख 25 हजार रुपये का जुर्माना वसूला गया। परिवहन विभाग ने स्पष्ट किया कि अभियान का उद्देश्य केवल जुर्माना वसूलना नहीं, बल्कि सड़क दुर्घटनाओं के प्रमुख कारणों पर नियंत्रण स्थापित करना है।

अभियान के दौरान बिना हेलमेट दोपहिया वाहन चलाने, एक बाइक पर तीन सवारी बैठाने (ट्रिपल राइडिंग) तथा शराब पीकर वाहन चलाने वालों की विशेष जांच की गई। इसके अलावा ड्राइविंग लाइसेंस, वाहन बीमा, परमिट, प्रदूषण प्रमाण पत्र (पीयूसी) और रोड टैक्स सहित आवश्यक दस्तावेजों की भी जांच की गई। आवश्यक दस्तावेज नहीं पाए जाने पर संबंधित वाहन चालकों के विरुद्ध चालान की कार्रवाई की गई।

जांच के दौरान प्रेशर हॉर्न और मल्टी-टोन हॉर्न का इस्तेमाल कर ध्वनि प्रदूषण फैलाने वाले वाहनों पर भी कार्रवाई की गई। अधिकारियों ने मौके पर ही वाहन चालकों को यातायात नियमों का पालन करने की सलाह देते हुए बताया कि सड़क पर की गई छोटी सी लापरवाही भी गंभीर दुर्घटना का कारण बन सकती है।

परिवहन विभाग ने संकेत दिया है कि सड़क सुरक्षा को लेकर इस प्रकार के अभियान आगे भी लगातार चलाए जाएंगे। विभाग ने सभी वाहन चालकों से हेलमेट एवं सीट बेल्ट का अनिवार्य रूप से उपयोग करने तथा वाहन से संबंधित सभी आवश्यक दस्तावेज अद्यतन रखने की अपील की है।
