शादी के निमंत्रण वाली एपीके फाइल खोलते ही व्यवसायी के खाते से 2.99 लाख रुपये उड़े

व्हाट्सएप हैक कर साइबर अपराधियों ने दिया ठगी को अंजाम, पुलिस से कार्रवाई की मांग

गुमला : गुमला शहर में साइबर ठगों ने एक व्यवसायी को निशाना बनाते हुए शादी के निमंत्रण के नाम पर 2 लाख 99 हजार रुपये की ठगी कर ली। घटना के बाद पीड़ित ने थाना में लिखित शिकायत देकर कार्रवाई की मांग की है।

जानकारी के अनुसार, शहर के एक व्यवसायी के व्हाट्सएप पर परिचित व्यक्ति के नंबर से शादी का निमंत्रण भेजा गया था। निमंत्रण के साथ एक एपीके (APK) फाइल भी संलग्न थी। फाइल खोलते ही मोबाइल में मौजूद बैंकिंग संबंधी जानकारियां साइबर अपराधियों के कब्जे में पहुंच गईं और कुछ ही देर में उनके खाते से 2 लाख 99 हजार रुपये निकाल लिए गए।

प्रारंभिक जांच में पता चला है कि जिस व्यक्ति के व्हाट्सएप नंबर से निमंत्रण भेजा गया था, उसका अकाउंट पहले ही साइबर अपराधियों द्वारा हैक कर लिया गया था। इसके बाद हैकर उसी नंबर का इस्तेमाल कर उसके परिचितों को फर्जी एपीके फाइल भेजकर ठगी को अंजाम दे रहे थे।

घटना के बाद पीड़ित व्यवसायी ने स्थानीय थाना में लिखित आवेदन देकर मामले की जांच एवं कार्रवाई की मांग की है। पुलिस मामले की जांच में जुट गई है।

साइबर विशेषज्ञों की सलाह

साइबर विशेषज्ञों का कहना है कि किसी भी अनजान एपीके फाइल, लिंक या मोबाइल एप्लीकेशन को बिना सत्यापन के डाउनलोड या इंस्टॉल नहीं करना चाहिए। यदि किसी परिचित के नंबर से भी कोई संदिग्ध फाइल प्राप्त हो, तो पहले फोन कर उसकी पुष्टि कर लें। साथ ही बैंकिंग संबंधी सुरक्षा उपायों का पालन करते हुए किसी भी असामान्य गतिविधि की तुरंत सूचना बैंक और साइबर हेल्पलाइन 1930 पर दें।

सावधानी ही साइबर ठगी से बचाव का सबसे बड़ा उपाय है।
