गुमला टावर चौक शहीद स्मारक स्थित पुलिस कंट्रोल रूम को ध्वस्त कर उक्त स्थान पर ढिशुम गुरु शिबू सोरेन की प्रतिमा स्थापित करने का विरोध करते हुए भारतीय जनता पार्टी गुमला ने उपायुक्त को दिया आवेदन

गुमला : – गुमला जिला भारतीय जनता पार्टी द्वारा टावर चौक में स्थित पुलिस कंट्रोल रूम को ध्वस्त कर उक्त स्थान पर ढिशुम गुरु शिबू सोरेन की प्रतिमा स्थापित करने के कार्य पर रोक लगाने हेतु गुमला उपयुक्त दिलेश्वर महतो को आवेदन दिया गया, उक्त निवेदन के माध्यम से बताया गया है की गुमला नगर के हृदय स्थल टावर चौक पर पूर्व में गुमला पुलिस प्रशासन के द्वारा एक कंट्रोल रूम का निर्माण किया गया था, ताकि गर्मी – जाडा – बरसात के मौसम में उक्त कंट्रोल रूम में पुलिसकर्मी धूप एवं वर्षा सहित हर मौसम में उक्त स्थान पर बैठकर नगर एवं आसपास के क्षेत्रों की गतिविधियों और अंतर राज्य उडीसा मध्य प्रदेश के नेशनल हाईवे पर निगरानी रखते थे, और इसी स्थान से सीसीटीवी कैमरों का संचालन एवं कानून- व्यवस्था की निगरानी भी की जाती थी, उक्त कंट्रोल रूम भारतीय जनता पार्टी के पूर्व विधायक शिवशंकर उरांव के विधायक निधि से निर्मित कराया गया था।
वर्तमान में उक्त कंट्रोल रूम को ध्वस्त कर झारखंड के जननायक एवं पूर्व मुख्यमंत्री स्वर्गीय श्री शिबू सोरेन जी की प्रतिमा स्थापित किए जाने का कार्य किया जा रहा है, भारतीय जनता पार्टी गुमला का मानना है कि स्वर्गीय शिबू सोरेन जी राज्य के सम्मानित जननायक है तथा उनकी प्रतिमा अवश्य स्थापित होनी चाहिए, किंतु ऐसे स्थान पर जहाँ उनकी गरिमा और ऐतिहासिक महत्व के अनुरूप उचित स्थल उपलब्ध हो। पुलिस कंट्रोल रूम को हटाकर प्रतिमा स्थापित करना न तो प्रशासनिक दृष्टि से उचित है और न ही जनहित में है।
इसके अतिरिक्त, उक्त स्थान के समीप स्थित शहीद स्मारक ( टावर चौक ) गुमला जिले की पहचान एवं सम्मान का प्रतीक है। ऐसे में बिना समुचित योजना के प्रतिमा स्थापित करने से शहीद स्मारक की गरिमा प्रभावित होने की आशंका है तथा इससे स्वर्गीय शिबू सोरेन जी के सम्मान पर भी अनावश्यक विवाद उत्पन्न हो सकता है, अतः जिला प्रशासन एवं पुलिस प्रशासन से अनुरोध है कि जनहित, कानून-व्यवस्था एवं नगर की गरिमा को ध्यान में रखते हुए टावर चौक स्थित पुलिस कंट्रोल रूम को ध्वस्त कर प्रतिमा स्थापित करने के कार्य पर तत्काल रोक लगाने की कृपा करें तथा इस विषय पर सभी संबंधित पक्षों से विचार-विमर्श कर उचित निर्णय लिया आए, अन्यथा जनभावनाओं को देखते हुए हमे लोकतांत्रिक एवं शांतिपूर्ण तरीके से आंदोलन करने के लिए विवश होना पड़ेगा l
