Gomia— टीबी (क्षय रोग) को लेकर समाज में फैली भ्रांतियों को दूर करने और मरीजों को नियमित उपचार के लिए प्रेरित करने के उद्देश्य से शुक्रवार को डीवीसी की सीएसआर इकाई एवं बोकारो थर्मल अस्पताल की ओर से बोकारो थर्मल ऑफिसर्स क्लब में जागरूकता कार्यक्रम का आयोजन किया गया। इस दौरान टीबी से पीड़ित 50 मरीजों के बीच निःशुल्क दवाइयों के साथ पोषण किट का वितरण किया गया।
कार्यक्रम का शुभारंभ डीवीसी के वरीय महाप्रबंधक (एचआर) ए. कुजूर ने बोकारो जिला टीबी समन्वयक हेमंत कुमार झा को पौधा भेंट कर किया। इसके बाद मरीजों को नियमित रूप से दवा लेने, संतुलित एवं पौष्टिक भोजन करने तथा इलाज बीच में नहीं छोड़ने की सलाह दी गई।
अधिकारियों ने बताया कि टीबी पूरी तरह से ठीक होने वाली बीमारी है, बशर्ते मरीज चिकित्सकों के निर्देशानुसार पूरे समय तक दवा लें। केंद्र एवं राज्य सरकार के टीबी मुक्त भारत अभियान के तहत डीवीसी की सीएसआर इकाई और बोकारो थर्मल अस्पताल अगले छह माह तक मरीजों को दवा एवं पोषण किट उपलब्ध कराएंगे, ताकि इलाज के साथ बेहतर पोषण भी सुनिश्चित हो सके।
स्वास्थ्य विशेषज्ञों ने लोगों से अपील की कि दो सप्ताह से अधिक समय तक लगातार खांसी, बुखार, वजन घटना या रात में अधिक पसीना आने जैसे लक्षण दिखाई दें तो बिना देर किए नजदीकी स्वास्थ्य केंद्र में जांच कराएं। समय पर पहचान और नियमित उपचार से टीबी पर पूरी तरह विजय पाई जा सकती है।
कार्यक्रम में वरीय प्रबंधक (सीएसआर) मनीष चौधरी, उप महाप्रबंधक (स्वास्थ्य) डॉ. संजय कुमार, डीपीपीएम नितिन कुमार सिंह सहित अन्य अधिकारी एवं स्वास्थ्यकर्मी उपस्थित थे।
