बालमुकुंद स्पंज एंड स्टील आयरन फैक्ट्री को उसरी नदी से पानी देने के प्रस्ताव का ग्रामीणों ने किया भारी विरोध

10 हजार से अधिक ग्रामीणों ने 3-4 किलोमीटर लंबी मानव श्रृंखला बनाकर विरोध जताया, कई राजनीतिक और सामाजिक संगठनों के लोग भी शामिल हुए

गिरिडीह, (कमलनयन) : इलाके की जीवनदायनी उसरी नदी को बचाने के वास्ते रविवार को हजारों की संख्या में महिला, पुरुष, युवा और बुजुर्ग ग्रामीणों ने सड़क पर उतर कर बालमुकुंद स्पंज एंड स्टील आयरन फैक्ट्री को पानी दिए जाने के प्रस्ताव का मुखर विरोध किया। पहले से वायु प्रदूर्षण झेल रहे इलाके के हजारों ग्रामीण अब पानी के लिए आंदोलनरत है।

इस दौरान करीब 10 हजार से अधिक ग्रामीणों ने 3 -4 किलोमीटर लंबी मानव श्रृंखला बनाकर विरोध जताया। आंदोलन की अगुवाई विभिन्न राजनेतिक दलों के नेता और इलाके के समाजसेवी कर रहे थे। मानव शृंखला में गंगापुर, उदनाबाद, चतरो, मोहनपर, डांडीडीह,  हरसिंगरायडीह सहित अन्य पंचायतों के ग्रामीण शामिल हुए।

मानव श्रृंखला में शामिल लोगों ने एक-दूसरे का हाथ थामकर उसरी नदी बचाने का संकल्प लिया। प्रदर्शनकारियों के हाथों में तख्तियां थीं, जिन पर फैक्ट्री प्रबंधन,.सरकार और पथ निर्माण विभाग के खिलाफ नारे लिखे गए थे।

ग्रामीणों ने कहा- फैक्ट्री को पाइपलाइन के जरिए नदी से किसी कीमत पर पानी नहीं मिले

ग्रामीणों का आरोप है कि यदि फैक्ट्री को पाइपलाइन के जरिए उसरी नदी से पानी लेने की अनुमति दी गई तो भविष्य में नदी का अस्तित्व और जिले की पेयजल व्यवस्था दोनों खतरे में पड़ जाएंगे। ग्रामीणों ने कहा कि उसरी हमारी जीवन दायिनी धरोहर है। इसकी रक्षा करके ही हम आनेवाली हमारी पीढ़ियों को बचा सकते हैं। 

आंदोलन का नेतृत्व उसरी बचाओ अभियान के संयोजकों और विभिन्न राजनीतिक दलों के नेताओं ने किया। इसमें माले नेता राजेश सिन्हा, फारर्वड ब्लाक के राजेश यादव, जेएमएम नेता मोहम्मद बिलाल, मजदूर संगठन समिति के कन्हैया पांडेय, भाजपा नेता रंजीत राय, नवीन सिन्हा समेत कई अन्य प्रमुख संगठनों के लोग मौजूद थे।

गिरिडीह की जीवनरेखा है उसरी नदी : राजेश सिन्हा

माले नेता राजेश सिन्हा ने कहा कि उसरी नदी केवल एक जलधारा नहीं, बल्कि गिरिडीह की जीवनरेखा है। उन्होंने हेमंत सरकार से मांग करते हुए कहा कि पूरे जिले की पेयजल व्यवस्था इस नदी पर निर्भर है। ऐसे में यदि बालमुकुंद स्टील सह स्पंज आयरन फैक्ट्री को उत्पादन के लिए नदी से बड़े पैमाने पर पानी लेने की अनुमति दी गई तो आने वाले समय में उसरी नदी का अस्तित्व गंभीर संकट में पड़ सकता है। आंदोलनकारियों ने सरकार से मांग की कि उसरी नदी से फैक्ट्री को पानी उपलब्ध कराने के निर्णय को तत्काल वापस लिया जाए।

उल्लेखनीय है कि मानव जीवन के लिए नदियों का काफी महत्व है। नदियाँ हमें पीने और घरेलू उपयोग के लिए स्वच्छ पानी उपलब्ध कराती हैं। नदी का पानी ढूंढ़ने के लिए सिलावट की जाती है। जिससे फसलें उगती हैं. नदियों के किनारे की मिट्टी की विशेषता है, जो खेती और जीवन का आधार है। यह हमारे आसपास के पर्यावरण को हरा-भरा बनाए रखती है। साथ ही मछली पकड़ने से लोगों को रोज़गार और भोजन मिलता है।
