गोमिया: महुआटांड़ थाना क्षेत्र के फुसकोडीह गांव में अवैध शराब और मादक पदार्थों के कारोबार पर पुलिस ने बड़ी कार्रवाई करते हुए एक होटल में छापेमारी की। कार्रवाई के दौरान एक किलो गांजा और 147 बोतल विभिन्न ब्रांड की अवैध शराब बरामद की गई। पुलिस ने होटल संचालक बुटन साव को गिरफ्तार कर न्यायिक हिरासत में भेज दिया है।
पुलिस को गुप्त सूचना मिली थी कि फुसकोडीह निवासी राहुल कुमार गुप्ता उर्फ कुंदन कुमार गुप्ता के होटल में अवैध रूप से शराब और मादक पदार्थों की बिक्री की जा रही है। सूचना की पुष्टि होने पर बेरमो एसडीपीओ रविंद्र कुमार सिंह के निर्देश पर महुआटांड़ थाना प्रभारी कृष्ण कुमार कुशवाहा के नेतृत्व में विशेष छापेमारी दल का गठन किया गया।
पुलिस टीम ने होटल की घेराबंदी कर तलाशी ली तो मौके से एक किलो गांजा के अलावा विभिन्न कंपनियों की कुल 147 बोतल शराब बरामद हुई। जब्त शराब में बीयर, रॉयल स्टैग, स्टर्लिंग रिजर्व, ऑफिसर्स चॉइस, ब्लेंडर्स प्राइड, रॉयल ग्रीन, 8 पीएम, मैकडॉवेल नंबर-1 सहित अन्य ब्रांड शामिल हैं।
छापेमारी के दौरान होटल संचालक बुटन साव को गिरफ्तार कर लिया गया। पुलिस ने बरामद गांजा और शराब को जब्त कर लिया है। मामले में एनडीपीएस एक्ट एवं उत्पाद अधिनियम की संबंधित धाराओं के तहत प्राथमिकी दर्ज कर आगे की कार्रवाई शुरू कर दी गई है।
महुआटांड़ थाना प्रभारी ने बताया कि क्षेत्र में अवैध शराब और मादक पदार्थों के कारोबार के खिलाफ अभियान लगातार जारी रहेगा। ऐसे अवैध धंधों में संलिप्त लोगों के विरुद्ध सख्त कानूनी कार्रवाई की जाएगी।
