गुमला : – जिला मुख्यालय गुमला में राष्ट्रीय खेल दिवस समारोह के दूसरे दिन जिला खेल विभाग, गुमला द्वारा जिला खेल पदाधिकारी प्रवीण कुमार के नेतृत्व 5 किलोमीटर लंबी साइकिल रैली एवं जागरूकता रैली का आयोजन किया गया। रैली का उद्देश्य जिलेवासियों को खेल, नियमित व्यायाम एवं स्वस्थ जीवनशैली के प्रति जागरूक करना तथा फिटनेस को जन आंदोलन का रूप देना रहा।
रैली में जिले के खिलाड़ियों, प्रशिक्षकों, खेलप्रेमियों एवं स्थानीय नागरिकों ने उत्साहपूर्वक भाग लिया। साइकिल रैली के माध्यम से लोगों को नियमित शारीरिक गतिविधियों को अपनी दिनचर्या में शामिल करने तथा स्वस्थ एवं सक्रिय जीवनशैली अपनाने का संदेश दिया गया।
जिला खेल पदाधिकारी ने किया फिटनेस के लिए प्रेरित
इस अवसर पर जिला खेल पदाधिकारी ने कहा कि फिटनेस केवल खिलाड़ियों तक सीमित नहीं है, बल्कि प्रत्येक नागरिक के स्वस्थ एवं बेहतर जीवन के लिए आवश्यक है। उन्होंने आमजनों से प्रतिदिन कम से कम एक घंटा खेल एवं शारीरिक गतिविधियों के लिए समय देने की अपील की।
उन्होंने “एक घंटा, खेल के मैदान में “खेलेगा इंडिया, खिलेगा इंडिया”, “हर गली, हर मैदान, खेले सारा हिंदुस्तान” एवं “हम फिट तो इंडिया फिट” जैसे फिट इंडिया संदेशों को जन-जन तक पहुंचाने का आह्वान किया।
उन्होंने यह भी कहा कि नियमित खेलकूद एवं व्यायाम से व्यक्ति शारीरिक रूप से स्वस्थ रहने के साथ-साथ मानसिक रूप से भी मजबूत बनता है। उन्होंने कहा कि स्वस्थ युवा और स्वस्थ नागरिक ही मजबूत समाज एवं सशक्त राष्ट्र की नींव हैं।
खिलाड़ियों एवं प्रशिक्षकों ने लिया हिस्सा
साइकिल रैली में आवासीय प्रशिक्षण हॉकी केंद्र के कोच शंभू कुमार, आवासीय एथलेटिक्स केंद्र के कोच मनोज कुमार, एथलेटिक्स कोच महावीर कुमार एवं आवासीय बैडमिंटन प्रशिक्षण केंद्र के कोच सौरव कुमार सहित जिले के खिलाड़ी एवं प्रशिक्षक शामिल हुए।
