ढुल्लू महतो ने कोर्ट में किया सरेंडर, भेजे गए जेल, रविवार की रात पड़े थे बीमार, अब कल हाईकोर्ट में होगी सुनवाई

धनबाद : बाघमारा विधायक ढुलू महतो ने सोमवार की सुबह धनबाद न्यायालय में सरेंडर कर दिया. भारी समर्थकों के साथ अपने निजी वाहन से धनबाद कोर्ट पहुचे थे. 2013 में वारंटी राजेश गुप्ता को छुड़ाने व पुलिस की वर्दी फाड़ने के मामले में हाईकोर्ट ने सरेंडर करने का आदेश दिया था. उसी मामले में आज धनबाद न्यायालय में विधायक ने सरेंडर किया. रविवार की रात 9.30 बजे निचितपुर अस्पताल में पेट दर्द की शिकायत पर भर्ती हुए थे. डॉक्टरों ने उसकी पुरानी बीमारी कोलाइटिस बताते हुए हाइर अस्पताल रेफर किया था. वे दुर्गापुर मिशन के लिए निकले थे और आज सुबह करीब साढ़े दस बजे उन्होंने कोर्ट में सरेंडर कर दिया. न्यायालय ने उन्हें जेल भेज दिया.

हाईकोर्ट में क्रिमिनल रिवीजन याचिका दायर की है

बता दें कि ढूल्लू महतो को झारखंड हाईकोर्ट ने बीते 12 दिसंबर को चार हफ्ते के भीतर सरेंडर करने का आदेश दिया था. उन्होंने इस केस में झारखंड हाईकोर्ट में क्रिमिनल रिवीजन याचिका दायर की है. इसपर हाईकोर्ट ने उन्हें पहले निचली अदालत में सरेंडर करने को कहा था. हाईकोर्ट ने इसके लिए जो वक्त दिया था, उसकी मियाद आज पूरी हो रही थी. हाईकोर्ट में इस मामले की अगली सुनवाई 10 जनवरी को होनी है. विधायक ने कहा कि उन्हें न्यायपालिका पर पूरा भरोसा है. उन्होंने खुद को इस मामले में निर्दोष बताते हुए कहा कि उन्हें न्याय मिलने की पूरी उम्मीद है. 

जमानत पर चल रहे थे ढूल्लू
उल्लेखनीय है कि ढुल्लू महतो पर 2013 में सरकारी कार्य में बाधा डालने, पुलिस इंस्पेक्टर आरएन चौधरी की वर्दी फाड़ने और वारंटी राजेश गुप्ता को जबरन छुड़ाने का केस धनबाद के कतरास थाने में दर्ज हुआ था. इस मामले में ट्रायल के बाद धनबाद की अनुमंडल दंडाधिकारी शिखा अग्रवाल की अदालत ने अक्टूबर 2019 को उन्हें 18 महीने की सजा सुनाई थी. विधायक ने 18 माह की सजा में से करीब एक साल की सजा काट ली है. इसके बाद वे जमानत पर चल रहे थे, लेकिन हाईकोर्ट के आदेश के बाद उन्हें पुन: जेल जाना पड़ा है.
