डीसी ने कहा-दुर्भाग्यवश गिरिडीह देश का दूसरा जिला है, जहां खसरे का सर्वाधिक प्रभाव देखा गया है…इसलिए इसे मिटाने का संकल्प लें

गिरिडीह (कमलनयन): झारखंड के सर्वाधिक खसरा प्रभावित गिरिडीह जिले में बुधवार को खसरा-रूबेला (मिजिल्स) टीकाकरण अभियान प्रारम्भ किया गया। 12 अप्रैल से 05 मई तक चलने वाले इस विशेष अभियान की शुरुआत उपायुक्त नमन प्रियेश लकड़ा, स्वास्थ्य उपनिदेशक डा. बुका उरांव, सीएस डा. एस पी मिश्रा की उपस्थिति में शहर के कार्मेल स्कूल में आयोजित कार्यक्रम के दौरान स्कूल की छात्रा श्वेता कुमारी को टीका लगाकर की गई।

खसरा संक्रमण की गंभीरता को समझें: डीसी

टीकाकरण अभियान कार्यक्रम को संबोघित करते हुए उपायुक्त नमन प्रियेश लकड़ा ने कहा कि खसरा संक्रमण की गंभीरता को समझने की जरूरत है। डीसी ने कहा कि दुर्भाग्यवश गिरिडीह देश का दूसरा जिला है, जहां खसरे का सर्वाधिक प्रभाव देखा गया है. इसलिए हम सबको मिलकर इस दुर्भाग्य को बदलने की जरूरत है, यह समय की मांग है.

2023 के अंत तक खसरा उन्मूलन का लक्ष्य : डॉ.बुका उरांव

मौके पर मौजूद स्वास्थ्य विभाग के उपनिदेशक डॉ.बुका उरांव ने कहा कि पश्चिम बंगाल से सटे जिलों में खसरा का सर्वाधिक प्रभाव देखा गया है। यही कारण है कि बंगाल से सटे झारखंड के जिलों में टीकाकरण अभियान की शुरुआत की गई है। सिविल सर्जन डॉ.एसपी मिश्रा ने कहा कि जिले के कई ऐसे इलाके हैं, जहां के बच्चे खसरा टीकाकरण से वंचित रह गए थे. 2023 के अंत तक शत-प्रतिशत खसरा उन्मूलन का लक्ष्य है। जिले भर में लगभग नौ लाख 09 माह से 15 साल तक के बच्चों को खसरे का टीका दिये जाने का लक्ष्य है.

‘झाड़-फूंक के फेर में ना फंसे…सीधे डॉक्टर के पास जाएं’

इससे पूर्व डीसी नमन प्रियेश लकड़ा, स्वास्थ्य विभाग के उपनिदेशक डॉ.बुका उरांव, सिविल सर्जन डॉ.एसपी मिश्रा व स्कूल की प्राचार्या सिस्टर तेरेसाड्डा ने संयुक्त रूप से दीप प्रज्ज्वलित कर अभियान का विधिवत उद्घाटन किया। समारोह में अतिथियों का स्कूली छात्र-छात्राओं ने रंगारंग कार्यक्रम का स्वागत किया। साथ ही नुक्कड़ नाटक के माध्यम से संदेश देने की कोशिश की गई कि खसरा हो तो झाड़-फूंक के फेर में ना फंसे और सीधे डॉक्टर के पास इलाज करवाकर अपने बच्चों को खसरे से मुक्त करायें। कार्यक्रम में डीसी, उपनिदेशक व सिविल सर्जन के अलावा डीटीओ रोहित सिन्हा, डीईओ विनय कुमार, डॉ.अशोक कुमार, डीपीएम प्रमीला  सहित बड़ी संख्या में स्कूली छात्र-छात्राएं मौजूद थे।
