नई दिल्ली : कांग्रेस के वरिष्ठ नेता आनंद शर्मा ने कहा है कि राज्यसभा सदस्य के रूप में अपना कार्यकाल खत्म होने के बाद भी सरकारी आवास में रह रहा हूं. किसी सांसद का कार्यकाल खत्म होने के बाद आवास की सुविधा अधिकृत रूप से दी जाती है, उसके नियम हैं। मैं जिस घर में रह रहा हूं, वहां अधिकृत रूप से रह रहा हूं। मैं अपना कार्यकाल खत्म होने के बाद मार्केट रेट पर किराया देकर रह रहा हूं। राहुल गांधी को मानहानि के मामले में सूरत की एक अदालत द्वारा सजा सुनाए जाने के मामले को भारतीय न्यायापालिका के लिए ‘अग्निपरीक्षा’ करार देते हुए बुधवार को उम्मीद जताई कि ऊपरी अदालत में यह निर्णय बदलेगा। उन्होंने यह भी कहा कि जो पैमाना राहुल गांधी के मामले में लागू किया गया है, अगर वही सभी मामलों में लागू कर दिया जाए तो संसद खाली हो जाएगी।

25 अप्रैल को पटना की एक अदालत में सशरीर पेश होंगे राहुल गांधी

उधर, पटना की एक अदालत ने मोदी उपनाम पर कांग्रेस नेता राहुल गांधी की टिप्पणी को लेकर दायर मानहनि के मुकदमे में उन्हें 25 अप्रैल को पेश होने को कहा है। राहुल की इसी टिप्पणी को लेकर भाजपा के राज्यसभा सदस्य सुशील कुमार मोदी ने पटना की अदालत में उन पर मानहानि का मुकदमा किया है। विशेष न्यायिक दंडाधिकारी आदि देव की एमपी-एमएलए अदालत ने इस साल 18 मार्च को एक आदेश पारित कर राहुल गांधी को 12 अप्रैल को पेश होने को कहा था।

सुशील मोदी ने किया है मुकदमा

हालांकि, बुधवार को सुनवाई के दौरान बचाव पक्ष के वकील ने अदालत से दूसरी तारीख देने का अनुरोध करते हुए कहा कि फिलहाल पूरी टीम सूरत वाले मुकदमे में व्यस्त है। इस पर जज ने गांधी के वकील से कहा कि वह मामले की अगली सुनवाई के दौरान 25 अप्रैल को कांग्रेस नेता की सशरीर उपस्थिति सुनिश्चित करें। सुनवाई पूरी होने के तुरंत बाद, सुशील मोदी की ओर से बहस करने वाली एक वरिष्ठ वकील प्रिया गुप्ता ने संवाददाताओं से कहा कि शिकायतकर्ता के पक्ष की ओर से सारी गवाही हो चुकी है, सभी साक्ष्य अदालत को दिए जा चुके हैं.
