Kisi Ka Bhai Kisi Ki Jaan (Someone’s Brother, Someone’s Lover) is a 2023 Hindi-language action film starring Salman Khan, Pooja Hegde, Venkatesh and Jagapathi Babu. The film is directed by Farhad Samji and produced by Salman Khan Films. It is a remake of the 2014 Tamil film Veeram, which featured Ajith in the lead role.
The film revolves around Bhaijaan (Salman Khan), the eldest of four brothers who lives in a village with his family. He is a brave and generous man who protects his brothers and the villagers from any trouble. He has vowed to remain a bachelor for life, as he believes that marriage will create disharmony in his large family. However, his brothers have already found their love interests and want him to get married too.
Things change when Bhaijaan meets Saumya (Pooja Hegde), a city girl who comes to the village for a vacation. He falls in love with her at first sight, but pretends to be a tough and rude person to avoid her. Saumya, who is also attracted to him, decides to win his heart by staying in his house as a guest. She also tries to bond with his brothers and family members.
Meanwhile, Bhaijaan’s enemies, led by Jayaram (Jagapathi Babu), plot to kill him and his brothers. They also want to take over the village land for their illegal activities. Bhaijaan has to face many challenges and dangers to save his family and his love from the villains.
Kisi Ka Bhai Kisi Ki Jaan is a typical masala entertainer that offers action, comedy, romance and drama. The film showcases Salman Khan’s charisma and style as the hero who can do anything for his loved ones. Pooja Hegde looks beautiful and charming as the heroine who brings happiness and color to Bhaijaan’s life. Venkatesh and Jagapathi Babu play their roles with ease and grace.
The film also has a strong supporting cast that includes Satish Kaushik, Shehnaaz Gill, Siddharth Nigam, Bhoomika Chawla, Palak Tiwari and others. The film has some catchy songs composed by Sajid-Wajid and Tanishk Bagchi, such as Deewane Dil Ko Jaane Jaa 2.0., which is a remake of the hit song from Tere Naam.
