गिरिडीह : मोंगिया राष्ट्रीय वॉलीबॉल अकादमी में ओलंपिक दिवस समारोह का आयोजन किया गया। इस मौके पर प्रशिक्षु आईएएस उत्कर्ष कुमार और मोंगिया समूह के चेयरमैन डॉक्टर गुणवंत सिंह मोंगिया समेत कई अन्य गणमान्य शामिल हुए। कार्यक्रम की शुरुआत में मुख्य अतिथि एवं अन्य अतिथियों ने मोंगिया राष्ट्रीय वॉलीबॉल अकादमी में प्रशिक्षण प्राप्त कर रहे झारखंड, छत्तीसगढ़, बिहार, प. बंगाल, ओडिशा समेत अन्य राज्यों के बच्चों से परिचय प्राप्त करके किया। इसके बाद वॉलीबॉल का प्रशिक्षण प्राप्त कर रहे बच्चों द्वारा एक शो मैच खेला गया।
अकादमी को बेहतर कोच एवं सुविधाएं मिली हैं: डॉ. गुणवंत सिंह मोंगिया
इस दौरान मुख्य अतिथि उत्कर्ष कुमार ने कहा कि मुझे काफी हर्ष हो रहा है कि गिरिडीह जैसे शहर में इतना बेहतरीन अकादमी का शुभारंभ हुआ है। उन्होंने बच्चों से कहा कि वे खेल के साथ-साथ पढ़ाई पर भी पूरा ध्यान लगाये। डा. गुणवंत सिंह मोंगिया ने कहा कि इस अकादमी को बेहतर कोच एवं सुविधा दी गयी है। पूरा विश्वास है कि आनेवाले दिनों में हमारा सपना पूरा होगा। कार्यक्रम को एमएनबीए के सचिव जयदीप सरकार ने भी संबोधित किया। कार्यक्रम में 14 बच्चों के एडमिशन कार्ड का भी वितरण किया गया। मौके पर अतिथियों के अलावा मोंगिया स्टील के डायरेक्टर हरिंदर सिंह मोंगिया, त्रिलोचन कौर, बलविंदर सिंह मोंगिया, सन्नी शर्मा, मोंगिया नेशनल वॉलीबॉल अकादमी के सदस्य नागेंद्र कुमार, राकेश कुमार, अभय कुमार आदिल सिद्दीकी समेत कई लोग मौजूद थे।
