Today from 9 am to 1 pm, the curfew in Haryana’s Nuh will be lifted. Banks, ATMs to reopen in Haryana’s Nuh on trial basis

“Curfew will be relaxed on Monday, August 7 as well. People can move from 9 am in the morning to 1 pm in the afternoon,” Nuh Deputy Commissioner Dhirendra Khadgata has issued orders.

On Sunday, between the hours of 9 a.m. and 1 p.m., the curfew in Haryana’s violent Nuh district will be lifted to allow for public movement.

Additionally, the curfew was relaxed earlier on Sunday from 9 am to 12 pm. Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Monday virtually addressed the Kshetriya Panchayati Raj Parishad in Haryana. The Nuh district is seeing some curfew relaxation today after clashes and violence broke out exactly a week ago. However, Police have barricaded off specific areas and are still doing checks, so security is very tight.

In Haryana’s Nuh, banks and ATMs will reopen on a trial basis.

The opening of the banks and ATMs in Nuh on a trial basis was announced by the authorities on Monday, one week after fighting broke out in the neighborhood over stone-throwing at the religious parade of the Vishva Hindu Parishad.

On Monday, the official said that financial institutions in the municipalities of Nuh, Tauru, Punhana, Ferozepur Jhirka, and Pingawan will open for a brief period of time.

In accordance with an order made by District Magistrate Dhirender Khadgata on Sunday, banks and ATMs will open on August 7 for a trial period. Banks will be open from 11 am to 2 pm for financial transactions, and ATMs will be open until 3 pm.

Additionally, on Sunday, a complimentary bus service was offered to CET examination centers in Kurukshetra, Panchkula, Karnal, Hisar, and Panipat.

Examinees will have access to this service on Monday as well. On routes including Nuh-Alwar-Jaipur, Nuh-Alwar, and Nuh-Gurugram, five bus services were offered.

According to a police spokeswoman, after fights broke out in Nuh on Monday over an attempt to halt a Vishva Hindu Parishad march, 56 FIRs were filed and 147 individuals were detained.

The violence resulted in six fatalities and 88 injuries.

Dhirendra Khadgata said on Sunday that the district’s internet ban will remain in effect till things return to normal even as unlawful buildings in the violently charged Nuh are being demolished. It is claimed that stones were thrown from these buildings at a religious procession during the confrontations.

The Haryana government has earlier prolonged the suspension of mobile internet service in the districts of Nuh and Palwal until August 8 (Tuesday). The suspension of SMS services has been extended through August 7 at 5:00 p.m. The districts of Nuh and Palwal are now without mobile internet access.

Meanwhile, A number of Rohingya refugees have been detained by the Haryana Police in connection with the recent racial unrest in the Nuh area. Some of the migrants have been recognized, according to Nuh superintendent of police Narender Bijarniya, for throwing stones and participating in the mob on July 31.
