डुमरी उपचुनाव: 5 सितंबर को होगा मतदान, अधिसूचना जारी, डीसी ने आदर्श आचार संहिता की घोषणा की

गिरिडीह : झारखंड के पूर्व शिक्षा मंत्री जगरनाथ महतो के निधन से खाली हुई डुमरी विधानसभा सीट पर 5 सितंबर को उपचुनाव होगा. मंगलवार को भारत निर्वाचन आयोग ने इस संबंध में अधिसूचना जारी कर दी है. जारी अधिसूचना के अनुसार 10 अगस्त से 17 अगस्त तक नामांकन हो सकेगा, जबकि 18 अगस्त को नामांकन पत्रों की जांच होगी. 21 अगस्त तक नाम वापस लिए जा सकेंगे. इस बाबत गिरिडीह उपायुक्त नमन प्रियेश लकड़ा ने देर शाम संवाददाता सम्मेलन आयोजित कर पत्रकारों को जानकारी दी है.

8 सितंबर को मतों की गणना होगी: डीसी

उन्होंने कहा है कि चुनाव अधिसूचना जारी होने के साथ ही गिरिडीह में आदर्श आचार संहिता लागू हो गयी है. उन्होंने कहा कि 8 सितंबर को मतों की गणना होगी, जबकि 10 सितंबर तक उपचुनाव से संबंधित सभी प्रक्रिया पूरी हो जाएगी. संवाददाता सम्मेलन में अपर समाहर्ता विल्सन भेंगरा, एनडीसी सुदेश कुमार, पुलिस उपाधीक्षक संजय कुमार राणा, जिला जनसंपर्क पदाधिकारी रश्मि सिन्हा आदि शामिल थे।
