रांची : पूर्व मंत्री व झारखण्ड प्रदेश कांग्रेस कमेटी के कार्यकारी अध्यक्ष बंधु तिर्की ने कार्डिनल तेलेस्फोर पी टोप्पो के निधन पर कहा है कि कार्डिनल का जाना झारखण्ड के लिये विशेष रूप से अपूरणीय क्षति है. कार्डिनल के निधन पर गहरा शोक व्यक्त करते हुए श्री तिर्की ने कहा कि 8 नवम्बर 1984 को रांची के आर्कबिशप नियुक्त किये गये फादर का निधन झारखण्ड का निजी नुकसान है जिसकी भरपाई नहीं हो सकती. फादर झारखण्ड के लोगों के मन में हमेशा जीवित रहेंगे.
स्वास्थ्य एवं शिक्षा के क्षेत्र में महत्वपूर्ण योगदान दिया
श्री तिर्की ने कहा कि कार्डिनल ने झारखण्ड में विशेष रूप से स्वास्थ्य एवं शिक्षा के क्षेत्र में जिस प्रकार से अपना अद्भुत योगदान दिया है, उसी के कारण आज हम झारखण्ड की इस तस्वीर को देख पा रहे हैं. कांग्रेस नेता ने कहा कि कार्डिनल हमेशा सभी धर्म, जाति, समुदाय के लोगों को बिना किसी भेदभाव के एक साथ लेकर चलते थे और उनका सदव्यवहार सभी के दिल में अपनी अमिट छाप छोड़ता था. उन्होंने कहा कि कार्डिनल तेलेस्फोर पी टोप्पो के कारण ही पोप जॉन पॉल, 90 के दशक में रांची आये थे. उन्होंने कहा कि भारत के जिन महत्वपूर्ण शहरों का चयन पोप जॉन पॉल की यात्रा के लिये किया गया था, उसमें रांची भी एक था और इसका सबसे महत्वपूर्ण कारण कार्डिनल तेलेस्फोर पी टोप्पो की सक्रियता और विशेष प्रयास ही था. मांडर की विधायक शिल्पी नेहा तिर्की ने भी कार्डिनल के निधन पर गहरा दुख व्यक्त किया है.
