आज दिनांक 5 मार्च 2024 को विनोबा भावे विश्वविद्यालय के विभागाध्यक्षों के साथ आइक्यूएसी एवं NAAC स्टीयरिंग कमेटी के पदाधिकारियों की बैठक आयोजित की गई। बैठक की अध्यक्षता विश्वविद्यालय के कुलपति श्रीमती सुमन कैथरीन किसपोट्टा ने की।

बैठक में विभाग के अध्यक्षों को बताया गया कि विश्वविद्यालय जल्द से जल्द नैक मूल्यांकन करवाना चाहती है। इस संबंध में नई सिरे से नैक से पत्राचार किया जा रहा है।

आज के बैठक में विश्वविद्यालय के नैक मूल्यांकन के द्वितीय चक्र की प्रस्तुति की समीक्षा की गई। इस संबंध में प्रत्येक विभाग द्वारा तैयार किया गया पावर पॉइंट की प्रस्तुति, 14 सूत्री दस्तावेज एवं वर्ष 2017-18 से 2023-24 का वार्षिक प्रतिवेदन की समीक्षा की गई। निर्देश दिया गया कि जिन विभागों में यह कार्य अपूर्ण है वैसे विभाग अच्छा शीघ्र इसे पूर्ण करना सुनिश्चित करें। इस संबंध में विभागों की ओर से कुछ समस्याओं से कुलपति को अवगत कराया गया।

कई विभागों ने कंप्यूटर कर्मी की मांग की। तय हुआ कि विभागों को ऐसे कर्मी शीघ्र उपलब्ध कराए जाएंगे। यह भी तय हुआ कि विभागों को नैक मूल्यांकन की तैयारी के लिए उपलब्ध कराई गई राशि का सदुपयोग कर वित्त विभाग को सूचित करें। विभागाध्यक्षों ने बताया कि कुछ कार्य बिल्कुल अंतिम के दिनों तक करना पड़ता है। इसीलिए इसकी उपयोगिता नैक पियर टीम के निरीक्षण के बाद ही संभव होगा।

विभागअध्यक्षों ने मांग की कि पिछले कुछ दिनों से समय पर नए विभाग अध्यक्ष, प्राचार्य आदि के नाम अधिसूचित नहीं किया जा रहा हैं। इससे कार्य बाधित हो रहे हैं । बहुत गलत संदेश जा रहा है। इस पर कुलसचिव ने आश्वासन दिया कि भविष्य में इस तरह की देरी नहीं होगी।

विभागाध्यक्षों ने स्नातकोत्तर विभागों में एवं महाविद्यालयों में शिक्षकों की घोर कमी के विषय को उठाया। सरकार के तरफ से रिक्त पड़े पदों के विरुद्ध विश्वविद्यालय स्तर पर आवश्यकता अनुसार नियुक्ति करने के आदेश के एवज में यथाशीघ्र नियुक्ति प्रक्रिया आयोजित करने की मांग की गई। स्नातकोत्तर के टॉपर एवं डीट (DEET) परीक्षा के टॉपर की नियुक्ति पर हो रहे विलंब के प्रति शिक्षकों ने कुलपति का ध्यान आकृष्ट करवाया। इस पर कुलपति ने आदेश दिया कि इन नियुक्ति प्रक्रियाओं को जल्द पूर्ण की जाए।

शिक्षकों ने कुलपति से आग्रह किया कि पिछले दिनों छात्रावास, कैंटीन जैसे बंद हो गए इकाइयों को फिर से चालू करने की व्यवस्था की जाए।

बैठक में यह भी तय हुआ कि मुख्यालय परिसर में अवस्थित स्ववित्त पोषित विभाग के निदेशकों को भी ऐसे बैठक में भविष्य में बुलाया जाए।
