गुमला: गुमला जिला के पालकोट थाना अंतर्गत कुल्लूकेरा पंचायत के कुसमाजोर सीजांग गांव में 35 वर्षीय चरण टोपनो की हत्या कर उसके चाचा और चचेरे भाइयों ने शव को नदी किनारे दफना दिया। पुलिस ने आरोपियों की निशानदेही पर शव को कब्र से बाहर निकालकर पोस्टमार्टम के लिए रांची रिम्स भेज दिया।
घटना का विवरण:
चरण टोपनो का एक माह पूर्व घरेलू विवाद के कारण उसके चाचा कामिल टोपनो और दो चचेरे भाइयों विश्राम टोपनो और विल्सन टोपनो के साथ मारपीट हुई थी। इस विवाद के बाद चरण रहस्यमय ढंग से गायब हो गया। उसके परिजनों ने पालकोट थाना में कामिल टोपनो और उसके दोनों पुत्रों के विरुद्ध शिकायत दर्ज कराई।
पुलिस की कार्रवाई:
शिकायत के बाद, पालकोट थाना पुलिस ने त्वरित कार्रवाई करते हुए कामिल टोपनो और उसके दोनों पुत्रों को हिरासत में लिया। पुलिसिया अंदाज में पूछताछ के दौरान, तीनों ने अपना अपराध स्वीकार करते हुए चरण की हत्या कर उसके शव को गांव के नदी तट पर गाड़ने की बात कबूली। उनके निशानदेही पर पुलिस ने कब्र खोदकर चरण टोपनो का शव बरामद किया और उसे गुमला सदर अस्पताल स्थित पोस्टमार्टम हाउस भेजा। डॉक्टरों ने शव को पोस्टमार्टम हेतु रांची रिम्स रेफर कर दिया।
जांच की प्रगति:
पुलिस मामले की गहराई से पूछताछ और छानबीन कर रही है। मृतक चरण टोपनो के परिवार को न्याय दिलाने के लिए पुलिस हर संभव प्रयास कर रही है।
