महाराजा #ओमलवानियाफ़िल्मरिव्यु

वन लाइनर साधारण कहानी को असाधारण सस्पेंस थ्रिलिंग स्क्रीन प्ले में पेन करना निथिलन समिनाथन से सीखना चाहिए। यूँ तो साउथ ब्लॉक का सिग्नेचर स्टाइल ही थ्रिल भरे ट्विस्ट एंड टर्न है किंतु तमिल और मलयालम के लेखक इसमें अलग महारत रखते है।

निथिलन ने अपनी कहानी में बखूबी दर्शाया है

इस स्क्रीन प्ले फॉर्मेट को फेबुला और सुजेट में लिखा गया है। प्रेजेंट व फ्लैशबैक दोनों के मिश्रण से कहानी को कहा जाता है। फॉर्मेट को ज्यादा डिटेल में यूज कर लिया जाता है तो स्क्रीन प्ले पेस स्लो रहता है, ऐसे में मास दर्शक मात्र पाँच मिंट में फ़िल्म छोड़ देते है। इसलिए भारत में डिटेलिंग से बचते है बेसिक स्ट्रक्चर को ही लेते है और अपनी कहानी को दर्शकों के बीच रखते है।

महाराजा का स्क्रीन प्ले इतना स्मार्ट व ग्रिपिंग है कि अंत तक बांधे रखेगा, इधर-उधर देखने का मौक़ा भी नहीं देगा। स्क्रीन प्ले पीक पर आता है थ्रिल बढ़ता चला जाता है। हालाँकि क्लाईमेक्स में सबसे अंतिम सीक्वेंस प्रेडिक्टेबल है।

विजय सेतुपति के बारे में फेसबुकिया समाज के बड़के मठाधीश द्वारा लिखा पढ़ा था, तब वे विक्रम वेधा और 96 से चर्चा में बनें हुए थे। ओवररेटेड एक्टर है। हालाँकि ये उनका मत था और अपने मत जाहिर करना सभी ने हक है।

उन्हें पुनः विजय सेतुपति को देखना चाहिए और खासकर महाराजा किरदार के साथ, फेसिअल एक्सप्रेशन और बॉडी लैंग्वेज में अपने किरदार से किस तरह मिलते है, जबकि डायलॉग में लक्ष्मी से अधिक कुछ न लिखा था सिर्फ हाव-भाव का खेला है और विजय ने अपनी अभिनय स्किल्स से गर्दा उठा दिया है। इनोसेंट और हिंसक का बेजोड़ संतुलन है।

भारतीय सिनेमा में ऐसा अभिनेता है लेखक जैसा लिख दिया और निर्देशक ठीक से किरदार और कहानी समझा दिया, फिर समझो किरदार में स्वयं को उड़ेल देते है। किरदार जितना दमदार लिखा, अभिनय डोज दुगुना-तिगुना बढ़ा देते है।

अनुराग कश्यप, इन्हें रियल लाइफ में देखो या रील महाराजा में चेहरे के हाव-भाव क़तई सनकी हैवानियत वाले रहते है। इनके बहुत इंटरव्यू देखें है और फ़िल्म में देखा, एक्सप्रेशन में ज़रा भी फर्क न है। लगता अभी कुछ उठाकर मार देंगे। हाँ ग्रे शेड में अच्छा ऑप्शन है उपयोग में लेना चाहिए।

बाकि कलाकार ठीक है फ़िल्म त्रिकोणीय आधार पर टिकी है तीनों मजबूत स्तंभ है निथिलन, विजय और अनुराग।

गौर करें।

तमिल फ़िल्म इंडस्ट्री में क्राइम कंटेंट को बढ़िया थ्रिलर-सस्पेंस में परोसा जाता है। या कहे विशेषज्ञता है मलयालम को भी जोड़ लें। इनका एक्शन भी मैन टू मैन और निर्मम रहता है। हवाहवाई में नहीं आते है।

महाराजा के कई सीक्वेंस बेहद खूँखार क़िस्म के हैं।
फिल्म ने ओटीटी प्लेटफार्म पर आते ही धमाल मचा दिया है और सुर्खियों में बनी हुई है। बढ़िया थ्रिलर-सस्पेंस देखनी है तो बिलकुल न छोड़े।

वे दर्शक अपने रिस्क पर देखें, जो आएँगे और लिखेंगे ओवर हाई अप फ़िल्म है।
