CBI has taken major action in the NEET paper leak case. Surabhi, a first year student from RIMS Hostel, Ranchi, has been arrested by CBI. Now a big news is coming out that the mobile and other electronic gadgets of the arrested student Surabhi Kumari have been sealed by CBI. CBI has warned three girl students living with her in hostel room not to touch any of her belongings. The market of discussion is hot due to Surbhi’s arrest.
CBI team had reached Hostel No. 3 of RIMS on Wednesday evening itself to interrogate Surbhi Kumari. After being interrogated till late evening, she was kept in police custody in the hostel itself. On Thursday morning she was again called to the CBI office in Ranchi for questioning. She was arrested after a long interrogation. During the interrogation of the student on Wednesday and Thursday in the absence of family members, Dean Student Welfare and Hostel Warden were called for information about the student.
The student is a resident of Ramgarh district of Jharkhand. CBI had received information that she was involved in the solver gang in the NEET paper leak case. Surbhi’s name has also come to light after her arrest in Patna. Information is being received that the student has also admitted to joining the Solver Gang.
This is the first arrest from a medical college in Jharkhand in the NEET UG 2024 paper leak case.CBI is trying to reach Sanjeev Mukhiya, the mastermind of this entire case. For this, action is being prepared against some medical students and doctors.
