Jasmine Bhasin reports that using lenses caused damage on her corneas, and she is now getting treatment: “I am not able to see.”

TV actor Jasmine Bhasin revealed that she is undergoing treatment for corneal damage brought on by a recent contact lens mishap. In a social media post, she stated that the problem started on July 17 after using the lenses at an event. However, she soon began to experience pain, which grew worse until she lost her sight.

Jasmine discusses the incident with her eyes.

Jasmine stated, “On July 17, I was in Delhi getting ready for an event. My eyes began to hurt after wearing my lenses, and the pain grew worse over time. I’m not sure what was wrong with them. Despite my immediate desire to visit the doctor, I chose to attend the event first and then make the appointment because of a business commitment. I managed things with the assistance of the crew because, at some point, I lost my vision from wearing sunglasses to the event.”

Though damaged, Jasmine’s cornea will heal in a few days.

“We saw an eye doctor later that evening, and he bandaged my eyes and informed me that I had corneal damage. I hurried to Mumbai the next day and resumed my treatment there. I’m in a lot of pain right now. I should heal in the following four to five days, according to the doctors, but until then, I need to take good care of my eyes. It’s difficult since I can’t see, and the discomfort keeps me from even falling asleep. Luckily, I was able to do all of my job on time. In a few days, I expect to heal and return to work,” she said.
