President Biden has announced he will not run in the upcoming elections and has endorsed Kamala Harris to oppose Trump

Joe Biden has disassociated himself from the contest for US president. Biden released a letter to Americans via social media, which was a major announcement. In addition, Biden has put forward Kamala Harris’ name to succeed him as president. In reality, following his defeat by Donald Trump in the debate and the widely shared footage of him nodding off during the conversation, Biden faced a great deal of criticism.

Biden was also persuaded to drop out of the presidential contest by other Democratic MPs, including former President Barack Obama. Concerns were voiced regarding Biden’s age and qualifications. Many Democratic members of parliament expressed skepticism about Biden’s win and expressed fear that if Biden runs against Trump, the party will undoubtedly lose.
It’s thought that Biden was forced to withdraw his campaign as a result of this pressure.

In a statement to Americans made public on social media, Biden thanked those who had supported him and highlighted the accomplishments completed during his administration. Biden announced his withdrawal from the race and his intention to address the media the following week. Biden justified his decision by pointing to party and national concerns.

Biden suggests Kamala Harris

In the presidential contest, Joe Biden withdrew his name and Kamala Harris was put forth. “My fellow Democrats, I have decided to withdraw the nomination and focus all my energy on my duties as President for the remainder of my term. My first decision as the party’s candidate in 2020 was to choose Kamala Harris as Vice President.

And it has been my best decision. Today I want to give Kamala my full support and endorsement to make her our party’s presidential candidate this year. Democrats – now is the time to come together and defeat Trump. Let’s do it together.”

Donald Trump has criticized Kamala Harris as a capable candidate instead of Biden, predicting Biden’s withdrawal from the race. In a leaked video, Trump mocked Harris, stating that while she is smart, she will not be able to do anything against him, as she has no status in front of him.
