देश की सुरक्षा एजेंसियों के रडार पर थे अलकायदा मॉड्यूल मामले में आठ संदिग्धों में से पांच की गिरफ्तारी हुई: डीजीपी

गिरफ्तारी के बाद सभी को दिल्ली पुलिस की स्पेशल सेल को सौंपा गया, शेष तीन को पूछताछ के बाद छोड़ दिया गया

रांची: झारखंड के डीजीपी अनुराग गुप्ता ने कहा कि आतंकी संगठन अलकायदा इंडियन सब कंटिनेंट (एक्यूआइएस) से जुड़े होने के संदेह में हिरासत में लिये गये आठ संदिग्धों में से पांच की विधिवत गिरफ्तारी हो गयी है. उन्हें एटीएस ने दिल्ली पुलिस की स्पेशल सेल को सौंप दिया है. शेष तीन को पूछताछ के बाद छोड़ दिया गया है. डीजीपी गुप्ता ने शनिवार को यह जानकारी साझा करते हुए बताया कि पहले सात लोगों की गिरफ्तारी हुई थी. उनमें से पांच लोगों को दिल्ली पुलिस ने गिरफ्तार किया है. यह बेसिक ऑपरेशन है. डीजीपी ने बताया कि झारखंड पुलिस के एटीएस ने इनका पूरा सहयोग किया. ये लोग जो पकड़े गये हैं, वे लंबे समय से राज्य और देश की सुरक्षा एजेंसियों के रडार पर थे. इनके पास से काफी सामान बरामद हुआ है, साहित्य बरामद हुआ है, इनके लैपटॉप में कई चीजें मिली हैं, जिसकी जांच जारी है.

रांची से एक डॉक्टर व हजारीबाग से एक व्यवसायी को दिल्ली पुलिस की टीम ने गिरफ्तार किया

डीजीपी ने कहा कि यह सच है कि रांची से एक डॉक्टर और हजारीबाग से एक व्यवसायी को दिल्ली पुलिस की टीम ने गिरफ्तार किया है. मूल एफआईआर दिल्ली में दर्ज की गयी है. आरोपियों को गिरफ्तार कर दिल्ली ले जाया गया है. बता दें कि बरियातू से गिरफ्तार इस आतंकी गिरोह का मास्टर माइंड डॉ. इश्तियाक रांची के चान्हो के जंगल में आतंकियों का प्रशिक्षण केंद्र खोलने वाला था. इसके लिए उसने जमीन भी देख ली थी, जिसमें एक मदरसा संचालक मुफ्ती उसकी मदद कर रहा था. इस प्रशिक्षण केंद्र में आतंकियों को हथियार का प्रशिक्षण दिलाया जाना था.उसके लिए हथियारों का जुटान भी किया जा रहा था. डॉ इश्तियाक मुस्लिम युवाओं को बेहतर भविष्य का प्रलोभन देकर अपने जाल में फांसता था. उसने दो दर्जन से अधिक युवाओं को राजस्थान के आतंकी प्रशिक्षण केंद्र में हथियार चलाने का प्रशिक्षण दिलवाया था.

डॉ. इश्तियाक ने रांची के रिम्स से एमबीबीएस किया

एक्यूआईएस के झारखंड मॉड्यूल का गठन अब्दुल रहमान कटकी ने किया था. डॉ इश्तियाक उसी को आगे बढ़ा रहा था. इश्तियाक मूल रूप से झारखंड के जमशेदपुर का रहनेवाला है. रांची के मेडिका अस्पताल में वह रेडियोलॉजी विभाग में काम करता था. इसके अलावा हजारीबाग में भी उसकी अपनी क्लिनिक है. बताया जा रहा है कि हजारीबाग आने-जाने के क्रम में ही उसने फैजान अहमद को संगठन से जोड़ा था. डॉक्टर रांची के जोड़ा तालाब स्थित अल हसन रेसिडेंसी में रहता है. इश्तियाक ने रांची के रिम्स से एमबीबीएस किया है. गिरफ्तार किये गये आरोपियों में डॉ इश्तियाक अहमद, फैजान अहमद, मतिउर रहमान, रिजवान बाबर, मुफ्ती रहमतुल्ला शामिल है. इसके अलावा मुदब्बिर परवेज, जैनुल अंसारी, जिशान अल्तमस को एटीएस ने पूछताछ के बाद छोड़ दिया है.
