बोकारो के सेंट लुइस स्कूल में एक वर्ष तक उपलब्ध कराए जाएँगे निःशुल्क सैनिटरी पैड्स
बोकारो, झारखंड, अगस्त, 2024: सूथ हेल्थकेयर का ब्रांड परी सैनिटरी पैड्स अपने मेंस्ट्रुअल हाइजीन इनिशिएटिव ‘परीवर्तन’ (PareeVartan) का झारखंड में विस्तार कर रहा है। परी का लक्ष्य क्षेत्र में बालिकाओं को जागरूक और शिक्षित करके उनकी मेंस्ट्रुअल हेल्थ और हाइजीन में सुधार करना है। ऐसे में, इस पहल के तहत बोकारो के सेंट लुइस स्कूल में बालिकाओं को एक वर्ष तक पूरी तरह निःशुल्क सैनिटरी पैड्स उपलब्ध कराए जाएँगे।
परी ने सेंट लुइस स्कूल में पढ़ने वालीं 450 से भी अधिक बालिकाओं के लिए दो मेंस्ट्रुअल हाइजीन अवेयरनेस सेशंस आयोजित किए। पहले सेशन का आयोजन उन बालिकाओं के लिए किया गया, जो फिलहाल मासिक धर्म से गुज़र रही हैं। वहीं, दूसरा सेशन उन बालिकाओं के लिए समर्पित था, जिनका मासिक धर्म कुछ ही दिनों में शुरू होने वाला है। इन दोनों ही सेशंस का मुख्य उद्देश्य बालिकाओं को जरुरी जानकारी और आत्मविश्वास प्रदान करना था, ताकि वे मासिक धर्म के दौरान अपने स्वास्थ्य का प्रभावी ढंग से ध्यान रख सकें। जरुरी संसाधन सुनिश्चित कराने के रूप में बालिकाओं को 1,200 से अधिक सैनिटरी पैड्स वितरित किए गए।
परी सैनिटरी पैड्स और सेंट लुइस स्कूल के बीच हुई इस साझेदारी का श्रेय बेहतर झारखंड के संस्थापक श्री विवेक सिंह को जाता है। राज्य में ‘परीवर्तन’ पहल को शुरू करने में उनकी भूमिका बेहद महत्वपूर्ण रही।
परी सैनिटरी पैड्स की पहल ‘परीवर्तन’ मेंस्ट्रुअल हाइजीन के बारे में खुलकर बातचीत को बढ़ावा देती है। यह ब्रांड जमीनी स्तर पर युवा बालिकाओं को मेंस्ट्रुअल हाइजीन से संबंधित सर्वोत्तम जानकारी प्रदान करता है, जिससे वे न सिर्फ आत्मविश्वासी, बल्कि सशक्त भी बनती हैं। ये सेशंस मासिक धर्म के दौरान बेहतरी से हाइजीन मैंटेन करने के महत्व पर जोर देते हैं। ये सेशंस मेंस्ट्रुअल हेल्थ की सभी मूल बातें कवर करते हैं, इसे लेकर गलत धारणाओं को दूर करते हैं और व्यावहारिक सुझाव देते हैं, ताकि मासिक धर्म को सुरक्षित और आरामदायक तरीके से प्रबंधित किया जा सके।
मात्र 1.5 वर्षों में, ‘परीवर्तन’ ने खुद का काफी विस्तार किया है। 500 से अधिक मेंस्ट्रुअल हाइजीन सेशंस आयोजित करने के साथ ही, इस पहल के तहत अब तक 15 लाख से भी अधिक सैनिटरी पैड्स वितरित किए जा चुके हैं। ऐसे में, इसने देश भर में 2 लाख से अधिक बालिकाओं के जीवन पर सकारात्मक प्रभाव डाला है। पटना, अलीगढ़, दरभंगा, रोहतक, दिल्ली, फरीदाबाद, पुणे, हैदराबाद, कोलकाता, अमृतसर, वाराणसी, गुवाहाटी, आगरा और कई अन्य शहरों में यह सार्थक पहल की जा चुकी है। देश भर में युवा बालिकाओं को सशक्त बनाने के दृष्टिकोण के तहत ‘परीवर्तन’ पहल आगे भी जारी रहेगी।
