Ranchi: As Jharkhand gears up for the upcoming Vidhan Sabha elections scheduled for November 2024, the Office of the Chief Electoral Officer (CEO) of Jharkhand has launched an innovative initiative to promote voter awareness across the state. The “Jharkhand Election Quiz 2024” is designed to engage the public and enhance their understanding of the electoral process.
What is the Quiz About?
The quiz competition, aimed at testing and improving knowledge about elections, will offer substantial cash prizes to participants. The top three winners of the competition will be awarded ₹50,000, ₹30,000, and ₹20,000, respectively. In addition to these, the highest-scoring participant from each district will receive a cash prize of ₹10,000, making the competition both challenging and rewarding.
When and Where Will It Take Place?
Registration for the quiz is currently open and will continue until September 26, 2024. Interested participants can sign up between August 16, 2024, and September 26, 2024, via the official portal. The online quiz round is scheduled for September 29, 2024, allowing participants from all over Jharkhand to take part from the comfort of their homes. Those who excel in the online round will be invited to compete in an offline quiz, which will be held in Ranchi on October 5, 2024.

The quiz is part of a broader strategy to ensure a well-informed electorate in the upcoming state elections. By encouraging citizens to engage in this educational competition, the election commission aims to increase public awareness about the voting process, the significance of each vote, and the overall democratic process. Citizens interested in participating can register through the official website at jharkhand.indiaelectionsquiz.com. The quiz competition will be held in two phases: the first being an online quiz, and the second an offline quiz for those who advance from the online round. The quiz is open to all residents of Jharkhand, and the organizers are hopeful that this initiative will see wide participation from across the state.
