Bengaluru – In a shocking and horrifying incident, the dismembered body of a 29-year-old woman from Jharkhand was discovered in a refrigerator in an apartment in Bengaluru’s Vyalikaval area. The police have confirmed that the body had been cut into over 30 pieces, raising concerns about the brutal nature of the crime.
According to sources, the victim, identified as Mahalakshmi, had been living in Bengaluru for work. She had moved to Karnataka several years ago and was residing alone at the time of the incident. The gruesome discovery was made on Saturday when police were alerted to a suspicious situation at her apartment. Upon entering the premises, they found her body chopped into pieces and stored in a fridge.
What Happened? The initial investigation suggests that the crime occurred approximately a week ago. Mahalakshmi had been estranged from her husband, who works at an ashram far from the city. Police sources say that she had been living separately from him for some time.
