धूल-कण से उठे गुब्बारे ने धनबाद शहर के करीब दस किलोमीटर एरिया को अपनी आगोश में लिया, घटना के बाद बीसीसीएल अधिकारियों की टीम दर्जनों कर्मियों के साथ निरीक्षण में जुटी

धनबाद (बस्ताकोला) : झरिया के आसपास की कोलियरियों के इलाकों के भूधसान क्षेत्र को कभी सुरक्षित जोन नहीं माना जाता. बीसीसीएल के बस्ताकोला क्षेत्र के राजापुर प्रोजेक्ट में शुक्रवार की सुबह करीब पांच बजे कोयले का एक बड़ा फेस खुल जाने से उसका एक बड़ा हिस्सा भूमिगत जल के दबाव से स्लाइड कर गया. इससे वहां भारी तेज आवाज के साथ भूमिगत जल के हजारों गैलन पानी कई पुराने अंडर ग्राउंड गैलरी से एक साथ निकलना शुरू हो गया. तेज आवाज और स्लाइड स्थल से भारी मात्रा में धूल-कण का गुब्बारा उठा जो, आकाश को ढंक लिया. वहां मौजूद लोगों ने बताया कि आवाज इतनी जोरदार थी कि ऐसा लगा मानो ज्वालामुखी फूट पड़ा हो. धूल-कण के उठे गुब्बारे ने धनबाद शहर के करीब दस किलोमीटर एरिया को अपने आगोश में ले लिया. घटना के बाद बीसीसीएल अधिकारियों में हड़कंप मच गया. सूचना पर बस्ताकोला क्षेत्र के जीएम अनिल कुमार सिन्हा, एजीएम टी पासवान, राजापुर प्रोजेक्ट के.के. सिंह दर्जनों कर्मियों के साथ मौके पर पहुंच निरीक्षण में जुटे हुए हैं.

लैंड स्लाइड की घटना में अबतक किसी की जान नहीं गई, पर धूल-कण से लोग जरूर परेशान हैं

लोगों ने बताया कि धनबाद की घनी आबादी वाले क्षेत्र बैंक मोड, गोधर, भुली सहित शहरी क्षेत्र धूल के धुएं से भर गया. घटना के कारण कोयला फेस में जल निकासी में लगे पांच पंप, दर्जनों बिजली लाइन के पोल, एक पुराना ब्रेक डाउन वाहन, जलमग्न हो गए. कई गाड़ियां, पंप और कई मशीन क्षतिग्रस्त हो गई हैं. इस घटना के बाद लोगों में अफरा-तफरी मच गई. मौके पर हजारों की भीड़ के बीच बेचैनी छा गई. इसके बावजूद लोग इसे देखने बास्ताकोला पहुंच रहे हैं. शुक्र है कि इस घटना में अब तक किसी की जान नहीं गई है, पर धूल-कण से लोग परेशान जरूर हैं. स्थानीय लोगों की मानें तो कोयला फेस से करीब दो महीने से कोयले का उत्पादन ठप है. यहां डेको नामक कंपनी पेटी पर कोयला उत्पादन कर रही थी. यहां अधिकतर आउटसोर्सिंग के जरिए काम होता है. बास्ताकोला के आसपास अक्सर गोफ बनने की खबरें मिलती रहती हैं. यहां कई भूधसान क्षेत्र हैं, जिसे खतरनाक माना जाता है.
