राजा पीटर ने फिर थामा जदयू का दामन, तमाड़ से हो सकते हैं प्रत्याशी

रांची : एक बार फिर राजा पीटर तमाड़ से चुनाव लड़ सकते हैं. दिल्ली के जदयू के केंद्रीय कार्यालय में राष्ट्रीय कार्यकारी अध्यक्ष संजय झा की मौजूदगी में राजा पीटर ने सोमवार को पार्टी की सदस्यता ले ली है. पिछले महीने यह अटकलें तेज थीं कि राजा पीटर एक बार फिर सक्रिय राजनीति में हिस्सा लेंगे. इसके लिए वे लगातार जदयू के संपर्क में थे. जानकारी के मुताबिक तमाड़ सीट से एनडीए फोल्डर के लिए राजा पीटर चुनाव लड़ सकते हैं। राजा पीटर 2009 में तब चर्चा में आए थे, जब वह पहली बार झारखंड पार्टी से तमाड़ विधानसभा उपचुनाव में तत्कालीन मुख्यमंत्री और झारखंड मुक्ति मोर्चा के सुप्रीमो शिबू सोरेन को सात हजार से अधिक वोटों से हरा कर सनसनी फैला दी थी.

स्व. रमेश सिंह मुंडा भी जदयू से जीत कर मंत्री बने थे 

बता दें कि राजा पीटर अर्जुन मुंडा सरकार में मंत्री भी रह चुके हैं। 2009 में सरकार गिर जाने के बाद राजा पीटर ने तमाड़ से जदयू के टिकट पर चुनाव लड़कर एनडीए की सरकार में मद्य व निषेध व आपदा प्रबंधन मंत्री बने थे. हालांकि सरकार ढाई साल बाद गिर गई थी. फिर 2014 में वे भाजपा में चले गए, लेकिन आजसू ने स्व. रमेश सिंह मुंडा के बेटे विकास सिंह मुंडा को तमाड़ से टिकट दे दिया था. इसके बाद राजा पीटर ने भाजपा को त्याग दिया था. इसके बाद रमेश सिंह मुंडा हत्याकांड में वे लंबे समय तक जेल में रहे. दिलचस्प बात ये है कि रमेश सिंह मुंडा भी जदयू से चुनाव जीत कर मंत्री बने थे. वह भी मद्य निषेध मंत्री बने थे. इस बार आजसू को तमाड़ से अपना दावा छोड़ना पड़ा है.
