योग से सक्षम और स्वस्थ समाज का निर्माण संभव: साध्वी योगिता
विनोबा भावे विश्वविद्यालय के स्वामी विवेकानंद सभागार में फिट इंडिया वीक-2024 के दूसरे दिन “योग और फिटनेस: विशेष संदर्भ में फिट इंडिया” विषय पर एक विशेष व्याख्यान का आयोजन किया गया।
कार्यक्रम की अध्यक्षता विश्वविद्यालय के माननीय कुलपति प्रो. (डॉ.) पवन कुमार पोद्दार ने की। उन्होंने कहा कि हमारे शारीरिक और मानसिक स्वास्थ्य को संतुलित करने का सबसे सरल और प्रभावी माध्यम है। फिट इंडिया अभियान ने स्वास्थ्य के प्रति जागरूकता बढ़ाने में महत्वपूर्ण भूमिका निभाई है।
कार्यक्रम के दौरान कुलपति ने साध्वी सुश्री योगिता के. मेहता को शॉल ओढ़ाकर सम्मानित किया।
मुख्य अतिथि साध्वी सुश्री योगिता के. मेहता ने अपने वक्तव्य में कहा, “योग एक प्राचीन विज्ञान है, जो व्यक्ति को आत्मशक्ति, संतुलन और स्वस्थ जीवन का मार्ग दिखाता है। यदि युवा इसे अपनी दिनचर्या का हिस्सा बनाएं, तो एक स्वस्थ और सक्षम समाज का निर्माण हो सकेगा।” कुलपति ने मुख्य अतिथि साध्वी योगिता को शॉल ओढ़ाकर सम्मानित किया।
कार्यक्रम में डॉ. उमेंद्र सिंह, नोडल अधिकारी, फिट इंडिया वीक ने अपने वक्तव्य में कहा कि इस तरह के आयोजनों से छात्रों में आत्मविश्वास बढ़ता है और वे बेहतर प्रदर्शन के लिए प्रेरित होते हैं। योग और खेल दोनों ही अनुशासन और सकारात्मकता को बढ़ावा देते हैं।
कार्यक्रम में मंच पर उपस्थित अन्य गणमान्य व्यक्तियों में छात्र कल्याण संकायअध्यक्ष प्रोफेसर (डॉ.) मिथिलेश कुमार सिंह, वनस्पति विज्ञान विभाग के अध्यक्ष डॉ. अविनाश कुमार, भूगोल विभाग के अध्यक्ष डॉ. सरोज सिंह, डॉ. सुबोध सिंह, डॉ. राखो हरि, डॉ. राजू राम और डॉ. विजय कुजूर उपस्थित थे।
कार्यक्रम के दौरान खेल के मैदान में विभिन्न खेल प्रतियोगिताओं का आयोजन किया गया। आज छात्र और छात्राओं की 100 मीटर दौड़, छात्राओं की चम्मच दौड़, महिला शोधार्थियों की 100 मीटर दौड़, और फैकल्टी सदस्यों की 50 मीटर दौड़ आयोजित की गई। इन प्रतियोगिताओं में विश्वविद्यालय के सभी विभागों के छात्रों और शिक्षकों ने उत्साहपूर्वक भाग लिया। मानव विज्ञान विभाग के अध्यक्ष डॉ. विनोद रंजन ने धन्यवाद ज्ञापन किया।
कार्यक्रम में विद्यार्थियों और शिक्षकों की अच्छी उपस्थिति रही।
