यूजीसी द्वारा आयोजित नेट जून २०२४ परीक्षा जिसका आयोजन अगस्त 2024 में की गई थी, उसमें विनोबा भावे विश्वविद्यालय,हजारीबाग स्नातकोत्तर अंग्रेजी विभाग के चार छात्रों ने सफलता प्राप्त की। तीन पूर्ववर्ती छात्र समसत्र २०१९-२०२१ के और एक छात्रा समसत्र २०२०-२०२२ की हैं। इनके नाम है सिद्दीक़ सुम्बुल,शुभम मोइत्रा, ज्योति चौधरी एव कुमारी प्रेरणा सिन्हा हैं।
ज्ञात हो की स्नातकोत्तर अंग्रेजी विभाग विनोबा भावे विश्वविद्यालय से करीब-करीब प्रत्येक वर्ष जेआरएफ एवं नेट पात्रता परीक्षा में छात्र सफलता प्राप्त करते हैं ।अध्यक्ष डॉ सैयद रिजवान अहमद ने छात्रो की उपलब्धियों पर हर्ष जताया एवं उन्हें आगे भी मार्गदर्शन करने का आश्वासन दिया।उत्तीर्ण छात्रों ने भी विभाग के सारे फैकल्टीज का आभार व्यक्त किया।
इस विभाग मे करीब दो दर्जन छात्र पीएचडी कर रहे हैं।
