गिरिडीह डीसी नमन प्रियेश लकड़ा ने अवैध रूप से संचालित क्लिनिक को बंद कराने और लोगों को जागरूक करने का दिया निर्देश

गिरिडीह :  जिले के उपायुक्त नमन प्रियेश लकड़ा की अध्यक्षता में सोमवार को कार्यालय प्रकोष्ठ में PC & PNDT ACT से संबंधित एक बैठक आयोजित की गई। बैठक में मुख्य रूप से गिरिडीह जिले में अल्ट्रासाउंड क्लीनिक/सेंटर, पीसी एंड पीएनडीटी एक्ट के तहत रजिस्टर्ड क्लीनिक, पिछली बैठक में लिए गए निर्णय का अनुपालन, नए अल्ट्रासाउंड केंद्र के लिए प्राप्त आवेदन एवं रिन्यूअल को लेकर कमिटी द्वारा विचार-विमर्श किया गया।

डीसी ने छापामारी अभियान चलाने का निर्देश दिया

उपायुक्त ने गिरिडीह जिले में अनधिकृत रूप से बिना लाइसेंस के संचालित क्लीनिक के विरुद्ध कार्रवाई को लेकर छापेमारी दल का गठन करते हुए गहन छापेमारी अभियान चलाने एवं आवश्यक कार्रवाई का निर्देश दिया। जिससे अवैध रूप से संचालित क्लिनिक को बंद कराया जा सके। उन्होंने प्लान पर चर्चा कर प्रखंड एवं जिला स्तर पर लोगों को जागरूक करने का निर्देश दिया।

उपायुक्त ने नए अल्ट्रासाउंड केंद्र को लेकर प्राप्त आवेदन की उचित समीक्षा उपरांत प्रस्तुत करने का निर्देश दिया। बैठक में उपायुक्त ने कहा कि जिला प्रशासन द्वारा “बेटी बचाओ बेटी पढ़ाओ मुहिम” के तहत गिरिडीह जिले में लिंग अनुपात में सुधार के प्रयास जारी हैं।

उन्होंने बताया कि गर्भधारण पूर्व एवं प्रसव पूर्व निदान तकनीक अधिनियम 1994 (PC &PNDT ACT) का मुख्य उद्देश्य गर्भधारण पूर्व एवं प्रसव पूर्व लिंग चयन का निषेध करना तथा लिंग आधारित आधारित गर्भपात पर प्रतिबंध लगाकर गिरते लिंगानुपात को सुधारना है।

डीसी ने कहा कि लिंग चयन या लिंग निर्धारण के विभिन्न चिकित्सीय तकनीकों के दुरुपयोग पर रोक लगाने एवं पीसीपीएनडीटी अधिनियम के क्रियान्वयन के लिए सभी अनुमंडल पदाधिकारी को अपने-अपने अनुमंडल क्षेत्र अंतर्गत समुचित प्राधिकारी के रूप में नामित किया गया है।
