गुमला: महा मकर संक्रांति और रथ यात्रा की उल्लासमयी परंपराएं

गुमला, झारखंड – महा मकर संक्रांति का त्योहार, सनातन हिंदू धर्मावलंबियों के लिए विशेष महत्व रखता है। इस अवसर पर गुमला जिले में भगवान महाप्रभु जगन्नाथ, उनकी बहन सुभद्रा और भाई बलराम की रथ यात्रा और मेले का आयोजन होता है। यह पर्व ऊर्जा, उल्लास और धार्मिक आस्था का संगम है, जो हर वर्ष नई उमंग और परंपराओं का संचार करता है।

कब और कहां होता है आयोजन

गुमला जिला मुख्यालय से लगभग 15 किलोमीटर दूर नागफेनी ग्राम स्थित कोयल नदी के तट पर महा मकर संक्रांति के दिन यह भव्य रथ यात्रा निकाली जाती है। भगवान जगन्नाथ मंदिर के परिसर से शुरू होकर यह यात्रा पूरे क्षेत्र में आस्था और उल्लास का वातावरण निर्मित करती है। इस दौरान, नागफेनी मंदिर में मेले का आयोजन भी होता है, जिसमें हजारों श्रद्धालु सम्मिलित होते हैं।

त्योहार की पारंपरिक मिठाइयों की महक

महा मकर संक्रांति के नजदीक आते ही गुमला और आसपास के क्षेत्रों में तिलकुट, गजक, रेवड़ी, मूंगफली, चूड़ा और घेवर जैसी मिठाइयों की खुशबू फिजाओं में घुलने लगती है। गुड़, खोवा, और तिल से बने इन व्यंजनों की तैयारी हर घर में उत्साहपूर्वक की जाती है।

स्नान, ध्यान और दान का विशेष महत्व

त्योहार के दिन श्रद्धालु तड़के उठकर कड़कड़ाती ठंड के बावजूद नदी, तालाब और जलाशयों में स्नान करते हैं। गुमला के कोयल नदी में हजारों भक्त स्नान कर महाप्रभु जगन्नाथ, सुभद्रा और बलराम की पूजा-अर्चना करते हैं। इसके बाद चूड़ा, दही, गुड़ और तिल का दान धार्मिक ग्रंथों में वर्णित विशेष महत्व रखता है।

उत्साह और परंपराओं का संगम

महा मकर संक्रांति, पोंगल और टुसू पर्व के अवसर पर हर उम्र के लोगों में खासा उत्साह देखा जाता है। विशेषकर बच्चे और युवा इन त्योहारों का बेसब्री से इंतजार करते हैं। पारंपरिक मेले, पकवानों की खुशबू और सांस्कृतिक कार्यक्रम इस दिन को और भी यादगार बना देते हैं।

अयोध्या और राम मंदिर प्राण-प्रतिष्ठा का आमंत्रण

इस वर्ष महा मकर संक्रांति का उल्लास और बढ़ गया है, क्योंकि अयोध्या में राम मंदिर प्राण-प्रतिष्ठा समारोह का आयोजन 22 जनवरी 2024 को होने जा रहा है। इस आयोजन से सनातन हिंदू धर्मावलंबियों में विशेष उत्साह है।

परंपराओं का पालन और मेहमानों का सत्कार

त्योहार के दिन हर घर में दही-चूड़ा, गुड़, तिलकुट और घेवर जैसी मिठाइयों से मेहमानों का स्वागत किया जाता है। परिवार और मित्र एक-दूसरे को उपहार देकर अपनी खुशी साझा करते हैं। यह पर्व न केवल धार्मिक आस्था बल्कि आपसी प्रेम और सौहार्द का प्रतीक है।

रथ यात्रा का ऐतिहासिक महत्व
